It is always a treat to be able to see behind the scenes of your favourite writer and get an idea of what makes them tick and how they came about to produce such wonderful stories and characters. The only bad thing about this book is that it is no longer in print and therefore very difficult and expensive to buy second hand. However it was worth every cent, especially to hear the back story on the Tomorrow series and how he first came to hear Ellie in his head. I was like a child unwrapping presents on Christmas Day when I got to the'Tomorrow' chapter! It is a great read and as an aspiring writer it is always such a gift to be able to share in the back story and the authors journey to success. It sits on my shelf alongside my other favourite book on writing (Stephen King's book "On Writing").
