Lists of additional sites and suggested readings are included with each chap ter. Individual sites are discussed in greater detail than in the wider-ranging The Audubon Society Field Guide to the Natural Places of the Mid-Atlantic States ( LJ 7/84), with which there is overlap in sites covered.
