This review is from: Marsh Mission: Capturing the Vanishing Wetlands (Hardcover)
I love both Rhea Gary, painter and C.C. Lockwood, photographer. I have several of Lockwood's books and prints. Rhea Gary paints in such an emotional way to capture the essence of her feelings about the place. Her colors are glorious. This book is so important to Louisiana, which is where I am from. I can't emphasize enough the cost of losing our coastline. This book came out at the perfect time, especially after Katrina, Rita, Gustave and the recent oil spill. These sites may soon be gone forever.
