Its very cute and a lot bigger than I thought it would be. My two female ferrets love to play in and on it while my two males could careless about it. The bars started cracking as soon as I put it together and I don't think they will last long anyways but that doesn't matter to me since my ferrets don't really care about the hanging toys as much as they love playing in the ladybug. When the bars break I plan on just letting them play with the toys without it and putting the ladybug mat in the cage so my ferrets can sleep on or in it.

This is the most adorable ferret bed/toy I have ever gotten for my baby boy. He loves it too. I would say it's absolutely great for anyone who has a ferret they want to spoil!

To be fair, I work in a pet store and we have at least two ferrets on hand at all times, with a maximum of five. None of our ferrets are there much longer than a month, but that has not stopped them from SHREDDING this bed.

First, while the hanging toys are just adorable, the ferrets quickly disassemble and chew away the pockets for the plastic parts. This is supposing that the little bugs hanging from the plastic arms can actually manage to hold up the dome shape. Often, we would put the bugs on, only after we had secured the plastic arms with something else (usually twine or some kind of string). Within the first day, the bugs were always torn down and chewed to bits leaving the crinkly plastic stuff littered all over the pen. (This would then mean, while trying to help customers, we'd have to clean the cage.)

The ladybug also has two antennae that are at the end of of long pieces of fabric. We got to the point that we simply cut those off and put the ball part of it back in the cage for them to play with.

You see where all the plastic arms attach? They love to chew on those places. Expect there to be holes VERY quickly. One ferret ate the vast majority of one ladybug by himself. After dealing with this at least three times, we no longer use the ladybug toy and instead go for the crinkle tubes and hammocks.

While really cute, the ladybug bed was a MESSY toy. All our ladybugs were retired to the rats in the back of the store who seem to enjoy it as a bed much more. They have only gone through one of the three! This would make a much better rat toy than ferret toy, I think. For that, I give it 2 stars for misleading people into thinking its good for ferrets.

I was shocked when I opened the package for this toy, because it didn't seem nearly as big online. I have a very large cage for my ferrets and the toy is much too big to even set in it. They have to play with it outside the cage on the floor. However, they enjoy it and I think that it is adorable and it's made very well. It seems to be durable.

I got this as a Christmas present for my ferret, but he really could care less about it. He plays around with it every once in a while, but for the most part its just decor. Its about the size of the Marshall's Tic-Tac-Toe play mat for ferrets, which he loves, so its big enough for a few ferrets to play with at once.

My ferrets were quite excited when I added this to their playpen. They love to play with the little bee on top. They keep trying to pull it off and so far they have been unsuccessful which is amazing because well, they're ferrets and ferrets are known to mess things up rather easily.
They love to hide under it as well.
The only complaint I have is that the rods holding the bee up isn't very stable. They often fall to the side and I have to fix them.
But otherwise a great toy for ferrets.

I was very disappointed in this product. The hanging compartment was very flimsy and wouldn't last very long with an excitable ferret playing with it. Also, there were no instructions included. I was not happy with this item.
