5.0 out of 5 stars Ferret Heaven!
My ferrets love this stuff. To make the product last longer and for an occasional treat I put a spoonful into a custard cup filled with warm water and they drink it up. They also go crazy over Nutiva Coconut Oil and Ferretone.

3.0 out of 5 stars My ferret wouldn't touch it.
I bought this after bringing my new ferret home. I wanted to get him used to a variety of foods since ferrets tend to imprint. I followed the directions on the package and even drizzles Ferretone on top. He wouldn't touch it. I thought maybe he was too distracted from being out and playing so I left it in his cage. He didn't even touch it overnight; I ended up throwing it...

He didn't even touch it overnight; I ended up throwing it out. I've never had a problem feeding him anything else. He eats raw/cooked meats and eggs fine, tries every kibble I throw at him (even kibble soupies) but wouldn't touch this. Maybe he thought it smelled- I sure thought it did, phew! I'll stick with our regular kibble soupies.

5.0 out of 5 stars MIRRICLE FOOD!, November 1, 2011
This review is from: Marshall Uncle Jim?s Original Duk Soup Mix 4-1/2-Ounce Small Animal Dietary Supplement (Misc.)
I first discovered Uncle Jims Duk Soup when my ferret wasnt looking so good. After he had gotten weel and some years passed he got much older. When he wasnt able to hold his dry food or water down he began to take a turn for the worse. I remembered the Duk Soup! He is now his Old Broadie self with a health weight, coat and regular and healthy bowel movements. It took a lot of work to get him to eat it at first but now he looks forward to hearing me mix his little bowl of soup up. PLEASE READ DIRECTIONS VERY CAREFULLY! I feed Broadie : 1 heaping table spoon mixed with very warm water (it will cool as you mix) I mix until the consistancy I want stableizes. You absolutly want to make sure when you give it to your pet that it is the right consistancy. Make sure to proide you animal ample water ass the can become easily dehydrated with out it.
