Great ferret toys. These toys are so tiny but my ferrets love to play with them. I would definitely walk into a pet store to pick these up. The shipping costs are not worth paying if you have a local pet store.

Ferrets don't have the best eyesight in the world, and some are even deaf. Our ferret, Stripe, for example, was born deaf. However, both of our ferrets loved playing with these polar bell ferret toys. Just roll the toys along the floor and the motion and the jingling of the bell will catch their attention and off they'll go in hot pursuit. Stripe couldn't hear the bell inside the toys, but once she caught up to any of them she enjoyed laying on her back and shaking them and feeling the vibration of the bell inside. I highly recommend them for hours of fun and exercise for your ferrets.

My ferret does not play with his toys very much. He prefers snooping around the house for fun and when in his cage, baby likes to just sleep. But every now and then, I will see him roll around with these fleece balls. That's more play than most of his toys get.

Pabu doesn't play with these on their own, but I put them in with his Marshall ferret ball pit and suddenly they became so much more interesting. And you can't argue with the price either.

I have two active ferrets. These balls appeal to them for their shape, internal bells, and the ability to be chewed on. They are the right size for my 3lb male and my 1.5 lb female. They carry them around, hide them, chew on them, play tug-of-war with them, and sometimes sleep with them. I gave them 3 stars because they don't hold up as long as they should. The material is thin, given the target audience, and the stuffing is a little light. These would get 5 stars if they were made with thicker fabric and the batting inside were a little more dense. I purchased many of these initially but will be replacing these with other options for them in the future. I suppose it is a marketing tool to not make them too sturdy, they would not sell as many. My two rip through them in a couple of weeks.

I, like another reviewer, have a deaf ferret. I was skeptical that he would enjoy a ball with a bell, but used the reviews and decided to gamble with a few bucks. He LOVES these toys. Naturally, I have to keep fishing them out of his treasure troves under the furniture. He enjoyed the first pair so much I purchased a second pair as back-up when I could not find anything similar in the cat isle at the local pet store. I could find nothing else that was plush with a bell.

Got this with a Tube, he LOVES it! Ferrets need sound toys because they have really bad eye sight. No matter how old they are. My 5 Y/O has ruined his toys over the past 2-5years of having them and hasn't had any and has seemed dull and bored. When I took these out and threw it at him he was playing like he did when he was just a baby!! So cute! He also sleeps with one and favors it, lol, it's really cute! Worth the buy! (Not to mention the amazingly cheap price point!)

I didn't think my ferrets would be that into these, but I figured for just a couple bucks it was worth a shot. Boy was I wrong. My ferrets go crazy for these things! It's their new favorite toy!

I don't recommend leaving them in the cage though. I may be a little paranoid, but I worry about pieces of the soft felt getting eaten and potentially causing an intestinal blockage. Your ferrets will love these, but remember, they are best used with supervision!
