I refer to this book all the time when I do my newsletters for the Scottsdale Historical Museum. I am fortunate to know Marshall personally and have his permission to quote at will. "A little bit of sugar makes the medicine go down." A painless way to learn historical facts. Marshall's humor is delightful, as you will see more fully in his other books. A great book to have around.

This book has lots of interesting Arizona trivia. It is fun and has lots of very interesting facts about Arizona.

Though this book has a lot of information, it is a tough book to actual use. The intros to each section have all of Trimbel's info. Then there are long lists of questions. The answers are a few pages later and you have to go back and forth to get the information. I found this book a difficult book to actually use, even to sit down and read. Back and forth. Back and forth. Good info. Hard to use. Thus, not enjoyable.
