Ride with the Pride..., January 28, 2005
Without a doubt, one of the most unique styles of music to ever grace my rods and cones!!! I have had the opportunity to see these guys on more than one occasion, and they are true performers in the purest sense!!! Energy galore, The Pride delivers their performance right to the core of the soul leaving you catching your breath and wondering why they stopped!
I was fortunate to be able to give folks in my area a fist taste of The Pride and have since seen even the biggest doubters bopping and hopping to every note and lyric.
In a world of such tasteless new music, Spookie Daly Pride emerges with a purely fresh and fun attitude, leaving you wanting more and more with each listen!!! Marshmellow Pie is a never ending indulgence of great rock and roll, sidestepping the mainstream and proving originality combined with great skill as artists, is truly what the music industry needs!!!
If you should happen to cross paths with The Pride, be sure to check them out and if your lucky, introduce yourself and you may find yourself drawn into a great night of fun with the guys. You rocked the Patio in Broad Ripple!!!!
Spookie, Pete, Tommy and Floyd...You guys are the best and I can't wait for your new release in April 2005....See you along the way and keep up the Great Work!!!! GO SOX....from one Pride member to the next....JOY!!!

Love The Pride, January 12, 2005
Boston's own Spookie Daly Pride's debut album "Marshmallow Pie" is an absolutely joyous combination of funk, rock, jazz, Dixieland and hip-hop. From the mid-tempo opener of "Karma Thunderbolt" to the eclectic, closing song 13 tracks later "Andrew Jones Ain't No Biggity Man" this album exudes originality, good times, and strong musicality. With an extremely versatile and funky rhythm section, fiery guitarist, and charismatic and engaging singer/piano player (Spookie Daly) these guys are like no other. Having seen these guys live on several occasions, I can testify to their outrageous live shows. So you should not only purchase this album but also check them out live if you ever get the chance. "Marshmallow Pie" kicks serious booty.

Spookie Daly Pride is a fun ride!, July 28, 2004
I saw Spookie Daly Pride perform as the opening act for Arrested Development on July 26th, 2004. Their music is fun, fresh and unique and their stage show is awesome. You can't help smiling and dancing to their music. They truly looked like they were having a fun time performing and their smiles are infectious (especially that of the guitarist), as is their music. I particularly like the song "Marshmallow Pie" and "Happy Happy." If you like music that is a blend of different styles, unlikely instruments and can be classified as "Happy Music," you'll love Marshmallow Pie and Spookie Daly Pride.
