Already regretting buying these. Bought 3 sets and all are starting to come apart along the sides. I've never had towels wear like this...I usually just get tired of them after a few years and toss. These are coming apart at the sides--a sign of poor manufacturing. Egyptian, in this case, means poorly made in a sweat shop. Do not buy! Note: This is my first review of a product from Amazon. I have purchased many items but never felt like I needed to review until now. Buyer beware.

I got these on a 2 pack special for $7.99 but I have seen the 2 pack (Bath Towel + Hand Towel) for as much as $9.99 on Amazon. I guess I was expecting a $15 towel, but these are worth what I paid for them. There is nothing extra special about these towels, they are the standard bath size with medium thickness and absorption. I only got a couple of fuzzies after washing and drying. The amount of lint in the dryer lint filter was not abnormal. Some reviewers have stated that the hand towels and bath towels were dyed slightly differently, but in my case, the French Blue towels were identical in shade for both sizes. These are great for everyday use, I like them and I'm glad I purchased them, but just keep in mind that you get what you pay for and if you are looking for an impressive or luxury towel, you might want to look elsewhere.

Beware.......if you don't like fuzzies - don't buy these towels. As many other reviewers have noted - the black fuzzies continue to get on you and everything they touch. Even after repeated washings, it doesn't stop!

The towels are nice, soft and cozy. Wash before the first use and they will be a great treat when you are done with your shower/bath. I originally got cream and brown ones. The brown ones are fading slighty. I recently purchased blue ones and the color is staying for now. Otherwise, these are great towels to own. Good price for good quality.

I purchased 8 of the 2-packs of these wash towels (or wash cloth as most of us refer to them) as free bonuses for buying the Martex bath towels. With the use of a coupon that was being offered for Kitchen and Housewares I was able to get 16 bath towels and 16 wash towels for under $47. These wash cloths are a large 13" x 13" and extremely thick. They also have a two-stripe dobby border on one edge and have held up wonderfully after many washings.

I love using them and when washed in fabric softener they are great. It is a great deal. Was kind of worried before purchase from reading some of the other reviews but after having had them a week, my whole family loves them. They are much better than the more expensive famous designer towels that I have. For people who are complaining about these towels, go price similar items at your local high end department stores.

Bought 4 colors as gifts in December when 2 bonus wash cloths were included with 2 bath towels -- a good value for soft, absorbent 100% towels. I kept a french blue and lemon yellow set, and after being laundered only 3 to 4 times, the french blue bath towels are obviously faded compared to the unused wash cloths. The lemon yellow looks fine, but I would hesitate to buy dark colors again after the french blue faded.

I'm sorry to say that I disagree with many of the reviews so far. I have a large family. I always buy good towels. These are GREAT and soft. They are most definitly holding up well after several washes and they pass the test here!
Yes, if you don't wash them first, you will end up with blue lint on you. It was kind of amusing when my daughter grabbed them straight from the box for her friends in the hot tub. I told her not to !!
For the price, you can't go wrong !

Normally I won't pay this much for a towel (after all, most any towel will get you dry), but since I needed to round out an order to get a discount, I did order two of these towels in white.Am I glad I did. Everyone deserves a little pampering sometimes! Beautiful white color, soft,and heavy enough to feel luxurious but not too heavy. Really just right.

Beautiful color.But not much softer then regular towels.I was disappointed,because I thought it would be softer and thicker.
