They have held up to washings so far as well.

I washed and dried these towels FIVE times and they were still shedding lint everywhere.

These washcloths are a nice size, and a nice thickness.

I use washcloths to wash my body. I don't like large, thick wash cloths that usually come with sets of towels.
I like them not too thick (but not too thin), not too small yet not too large, and I want them to dry during the day so at the end of the day I can throw into the hamper dry. These are perfect! A nice size, not too thick but definitely not flimsy. They feel nice and soft. They are stitched well and, so far (as of November 2011, over a year since purchase), haven't started fraying on the edges. I am attaching an image of a washcloth after one laundering, the stock photo shows them all bundled up and I wished I could see the entire washcloth when I was shopping.
P.S. When I was buying I did a bit of research on the manufacture and found that they also make washcloths that are sold in Bed, Bath and Beyond. So that helped with the confidence that they will be decent quality. And they are!

See attached photo to see the unrolled washcloth.

Update 8/20/2012
Almost 2 years later these washcloths are still in great shape despite the frequent use: no fraying of edges what so ever.

My goal was to purchase plain, durable white towels made with honest craftsmanship at a reasonable price. To me, the idea of a 'hospitality towel' translated that perfectly.

We purchased (12) bath towels and (12) hand towels, and so far are extremely pleased.

When initially contemplating the purchase of these towels, I had a variety of concerns based on some of the feedback/comments I found here. I'd like to address those in an effort to be helpful to others.

One poster made some comments that these towels were rough and/or not soft enough. That spurrned an brief inter-family debate with my wife, who immediately complained that she 'didn't want to dry herself with sandpaper'. Fortunately, there were enough competing review to make those comments questionable, and we did order them. But to address that original posters comments -- I think he / she might've been trying to convey that these aren't the kind of towels you will find in the penthouse suite of the Ritz-Carlton -- but it came across poorly. Let me say that these are regular cotton towels with the softness of regular cotton towels, no different from any other cotton towel I've used -- they are not 'too rough' or 'too soft' -- and they are pretty much identical to the towels they replaced, which were midrange Target/Walmart towels.

The other comment that had me nervous was that they shed. I shave only every other day, so of course a towel that regularly sheds is a dealbreaker. I have the towels some four days now. When I received them, I immediately threw them in the laundry, and they shed. In the dryer, they shed some more. The first wash/dry cycle was pretty nasty; scary enough, in fact, to make me think I made a bad purchase.

I bought some of these for Christmas last year as my wife complained she wanted to swap out all of our bath linens w/ white ones so we could bleach the heck out of them and keep them clean. I looked at "good" towels and almost swallowed my tongue at the price. I'm a guy...I'll use an old shirt to dry off after a shower...or even drip-dry if necessary. So, I ordered these with mediocre expectations. So far - the wife and I have been pleased with them. They're basically the same kind of towel you'd get at a Holiday Inn or equivalent hotel/motel. I recently ordered another bundle of the bath towels and some hand towels and wash cloths. If you have money to burn and need designer, 3-gajillion-thread-count towels...these are not the towels for you. If you want a decent, durable white towel to dry off with after the shower - hit "add to cart".
