Product Description

Fringe Scissors. Use these unique scissors to add a fringe border to cards and scrapbook pages. Also great for making confetti and shredding paper.

Customer Reviews

They are well made and are very sturdy.
Amazon Gal
The scissors are not so sharp and has the tendency to leave the shredded papers stucked in between the blades.
Mrs. E
Easy to use to make a fringe border, edge of grass, etc.

I purchased this to shred papers while I open the mail. The standard paper shredders took up too much room in my small house. These scissors do the job quickly and easily. I'm very pleased. For those that have to be doing something all the time, they now have these craft scissors to make fringes on all the junk mail. I think it might be therapeutic.

I love paper crafts and tools, so when I saw these scissors, I had to get them. They work beautifully, although they feel a little stiff to use at first, due to the number of blades you're working with. You get 4 strips of fringe, with a width of approximately 1/8" per strip, each time you make a cut. By eye-balling it, you can get an evenly spread fringe when finished. I made some easter egg ring-holders, but may use them to make colorful confetti for my "cascarones" next time!

I bought these because they were less expensive than scissors made for shredding, and because Martha Stewart craft items are consistently high quality. I have found them to be great for cutting up the credit card offers and other junk mail I receive before throwing them out (never can be too careful).

I deducted one star because a lot of times paper does get stuck between the blades, and it really can only handle a max of two sheets at a time, but if you're buying these for light shredding they're great.

I got this genius idea to turn hundreds of dried rose petals into confetti. I thought I would just buy a shredder and send them through. Turns out, shredders that output pieces that small cost an arm, a leg, and your first born.

I bought these from JoAnn as a Hail Mary pass, honestly not expecting them to work for this at all. I cannot believe how easy they made this project. The blades are very sharp, so they don't bend or rip the petals--I was even able to cut 6 layers together with no problems. The handle is also way more comfortable than I expected based on the other reviews. Of course they are still scissors, but my back got tired well before my hand did.

I'm very excited that I bought them; even at $2 more than Amazon, it was totally worth the price!

The scissors cut very evenly and easily. Saves lots of time cutting things such as "grass", fringes for dresses on cards and scrapbook pages. Can also be used to cut fringes for curled flowers.

These scissors are stellar. I used them only for adding fringe to folded paper and card stock. They worked well on all the paper I tried, no matter the thickness. I will say that they get a little uncomfortable if you're going to be doing a lot of cutting, but I think this is because of the weight of the metal part and the thickness of the handle. It could be worse though. I ended up wrapping some gauze around the thumb hole and that made them a lot more comfortable.
