What I really like about these types of MS punches is that I can flip the punch upside down and see exactly where the punch will cut. This makes for very tight punches and very little wasted paper. I have had this punch for well over a year now and given it quite a workout. Whenever it starts go cut a little harder I punch through first aluminum foil and then some wax paper, fish out the bits that get stuck, and the punch is as good as new again. One of the best in terms of ease in my collection, highly recommended.

Excellent product! I've used it dozens of times and it makes perfect hearts. I also bought the butterfly and the circle. The butterfly cuts perfect butterflies, but the circle was returned for a refund (none in stock), as it didn't punch through completely.

IT's TEN MONTHS LATER and though I use the heart punch at least once a week, it has stopped working altogether so I've changed my 5 star rating to a 3. I am disappointed it didn't last longer.SORRY...NOT EXCELLENT LIKE I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.:-(

cutting is a breeze!! but the scallop design is not that prominent.i bought 3 circle punch at the same time ek success, martha and uchida for an upcoming birthday party. i intend to use them for cupcake toppers. i was able to compare the three circle punches. ek is the best and martha is second and uchida is a crap.

this craft punch didn't make a clean circle every time that I used it... and that's kinda the whole point right? I shouldn't have to clean up the edges with scissors...

I'm not sure what other reviews mean when they talk about "pop-up punching"; this just punches a flower out of paper. That's pretty much all it does, but it's comfortable to use (easier on the hands than other punches). It's also very sturdy - I used it for a whole lot of wedding DIY projects and it's still in great shape.

Style Name: Scalloped Tag Verified Purchase
There were no measurements given for the size of this tag and it was painfully small. I had hoped to punch holes in the side and use as bag tags, but they were way too small for that. There's very little practicle use for this.

I love this punch and as I have found with the MS line very easy to use and cuts without having to use excessive pressure. I do wish it were a bit bigger, but will work well when I need smaller leaves for projects. Glad I bought it.

Style Name: Hydrangea
I began an addictive new hobby a year ago - card making. I love to make cards and spend many hours in Michaels browsing and buying supplies for my new addiction! I wanted a flower punch and bought the Martha Stewart Pop-Up Hydrangea Punch about two weeks ago. I threw out the cardboard container and sales receipt as I love all the Martha Stewart craft products I have bought. Last night I tried to use the punch. When I bought the punch, the PICTURE and INSTRUCTIONS on the cardboard container for the punch said there was an open circle on the bottom of the punch to "eye up" the punch on the color of paper one used for the flower. Since the box was sealed, I could not look inside the box and check out the punch. I thought I would use it as any other punch in the Martha Stewart line. I thought the words "Pop-Up Hydrangea Punch" meant that the middle of the flower was larger and the flower could be used with a dimensional for a 3-D look. However, that is not the case. Forget the picture and instructions on the box as the punch only cuts out the petals and the center of the flower is part of the paper you are using. It is hard to place the punch exactly where you want to punch a flower. After going back to Michaels, I found the same cardboard container with the same PICTURE and INSTRUCTIONS is used on all the Martha Stewart punches. Since I had thrown out the receipt and container, I am now stuck with an expensive punch that I do not want. I feel the picture and instructions for a non pop-up punch should not be used to house a pop-up punch and is misleading.
