Leave it to Martha to come up with this great product, easy to handle.
Greatful
Another complaint I've read is that the teeth on the box are too fine to rip off a piece of foil in a clean line.

It does not specify which type of baking or where the product is best used.

I see that people are not too happy with their use of Martha Wrap for baking cookies, etc when they lay the wrap onto pans.
That is NOT what this was designed to be used for. On Martha's show she has explained and demonstrated that this is for items that you would normally cover and bake with plain aluminum foil such as lasagna, casseroles, etc. You use the paper side to top the food and the aluminum side facing up while you wrap it around your casserole/lasagna pan edges. It will then eliminate aluminum touching your food and the cooked food sticking to the paper side. Many people do not want aluminum coming in contact with the food they eat due to health concerns so this eliminates that worry. And the parchment paper side discourages food sticking to it. For cookie baking Martha recommends Silpat liners for your cookie sheets which she also sells of course.

It always irritates me when a vendor doesn't fully describe the item, so you can see what you're getting for the money. By zooming in on the product image, I discovered this product is 40' x 12", which is only 15 cents a foot - good value if you can get your family to leave it alone and not substitute it for plain foil. It's almost impossible to find covered casserole dishes anymore, and this is a great thing to have on hand for that purpose. Did you ever store a pumpkin pie with foil over the top? Eeuww! The pie filling
eats holes in the foil.

Update: Really love this product, but I think the width should be increased to 15".

I love Martha Wrap! It's better than parchment paper because you can mold it to line pans and stay in place on a cookie sheet. It's also good for wrapping things. I used it for lining a brownie pan and the brownies came out looking like something from a bakery.

I have been avoiding aluminum foil for years now. Ever since I found out that it is linked to increase rates of Alzheimer's Disease. Silpat was perfect for all my baking needs, but my lasagnas and other casseroles did not do too well without covering them (the cheese would burn). This is the perfect solution! I don't know why I didn't think of it myself! Thanks Martha!

Love this, such a brilliant idea! I use it to tent over meats after they come out of the oven, wrapping beets/sweet potatoes before baking. It's excellent for when you don't want aluminum foil to come into contact with your food! I would never use this under my baked goods, parchment by itself or a silpat work beautifully for cookies, brownies, cakes.

A friend is using this to wrap hot dogs, put them in a steamer, and sell them at a flea market. The wrap works much better than aluminum foil alone - keeps the dogs hot and the buns warm without making them soggy. Biggest drawback is that you can't reuse it as you could aluminum foil by itself. Buy it at a Safeway in Northern CA. Costs $4.99.

Excellent product. I used to use parchment to cover acid based foods ( such as lasagna or enchiladas as the tomatoe sauce will "eat" through the foil and deposit aluminum in your food) and then top with foil to create a seal. This product does both. Other products are made that are intended to use to cook ON... this one works well for wrapping or covering food.

Every Holiday season I am required by family and friends to bring my roasted vegetables. It's an all-day thing on Thanksgiving, roast 3 sheet pans at a time full of various vegetables, then the lengthy cleanup of said pans before heading over to the relatives' houses to say hello and drop a plate of deliciousness. Thanks to Martha Wrap on my pans, cleanup was not anything more than a sudsy rub, no scouring off blackened bits & burned olive oil. Parchment side down, with edges wrapped over the sides of the pan, there was no curling, complete coverage, and no burned bits, perfect roasting. I actually had a little extra time to relax after the platters of roasted vegetables were done. Thank-you Martha Wrap.
