Martial Arts Baton Solid Steel Non Glare 21 Inch

I only owned this baton for a few days before I sold it to my cousin and ordered a new one (different brand). The few days that I owned this I liked most everything about it, it seemed to be quite sturdy and of good quality (I didn't use it or test it in any way though, just opened and closed it a few times). However, from what my cousin tells me it broke within a week of him owning it, but he is a little destructive so I'm not entirely sure if it was a problem he created by using it the wrong way, or if it was a product error. He did say that it broke in a way that meant the baton would not stay closed anymore, meaning it would slide out anytime it was turned upside down.

I bought this with hopes of getting a good expandable baton, what i got however an inferior product.

First off the baton wont stay extended
secondly harder then hell to get it back to start position
thirdly way to heavy and not balanced for crap to be considered a self defense weapon
