My son has a LOT of toys so I thought this birthday gift would get lost in the shuffle but he plays with it all the time and it appeals to his love of all things gooey and gross. Great toy.

I bought this a gift for my nephew - it was the only thing he repeatedly told his mother he wanted. He was sooo excited when he got it, he and his brother immediately began playing with it and didn't quit making martians until their mother made them eat dinner! I did purchase the refill as well, because it didn't seem there would be enough. As it turned out there was plenty, but it was nice to have some more color choices.

It shipped as promised, and was well packed.

This is just a refill. You must first have the Alien Maker Set which has the spaceship that houses the mold.

A fun and cool toy. You create the molds by pressing the aliens into the Meteor Mud (seems like a regular play-doh). After impressing the aliens into the mud, you pour the lunar lava into the cast. It will take around 5 minutes for the lunar lava to solidify into a gel. 3 minutes if you want it to be half-baked, where the aliens are soft in the inside for easier dissecting. Make sure to cover the mold with a rolled flat Meteor Mud or it will not set properly. No heat needed to set. You can also combined different colors to create colorful aliens. Since the mold is made up of play-doh like material, it is very easy to remove the aliens.

The stuff are non-toxic. The only warning is if you have allergy from wheat as it contains some wheat. Each bottle of lunar lava is 2 oz. There are several bottles included and you can makes a lot of aliens with them. This is a pretty nice gift for kids 5 years and above.

This is a great toy. You can make all sorts of Martians with hardly any
mess. Although, your Martian will probably shrivel and harden in a day or two.

My 8 year old loves his Martian Matter Alien Maker. He got it for Christmas 2 years ago and still loves making martians. It's getting more difficult to find refills at a good price. I'm assuming the product is discontinued. It's lots of fun and not as messy as you might think. Great for creative kids who don't neccessarily have a lot of patience.

I bought this for my 5 year old son. But all 5 of my kids had fun playing with it, even my 13 year old son had a few go's. It is fairly simple to use, but my 4 and 5 year old did need a little direction from me the first several aliens. It's a fun family time. Fast shipping as well.

We purchased this refill for the martian matter set that we had purchased for our sons aged 5 and 8. I think that they will be able to make a lot of aliens with this additional refill set. This refill gives them different colors to work with than what the original set came with. They have been having fun making aliens.

The children create, entertain themselves regularly. Enjoy these repeatedly finding fun again and again. Party gift became party fun.

We got the toy set for our g'son for Christmas. After many cute little aliens, he ran out of goop. So, with this, we can again populate the universe!
