I put these strings on a Yamaha guitar, and they make a bright, light-toned sound. The sound isn't very deep or rich, but it's great for hobby-playing or for accompanying singing in small groups. They last pretty long, too -- my friend has had these on her guitar for over a year, and they still sound almost exactly the same as the new ones I just put on.

I really like these strings. I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 2 years now, and these work perfect for me. They have a nice sound, last a decent amount of time and are great for just casual playing. I don't perform or anything, so I don't know how good they are for that, but they work for playing for friends and family.
