5.0 out of 5 stars This movie rocks!
I saw this at a film festival and laughed my ass off for 90 minutes. It's hysterical! What a shame that more people don't know about it. The UCB were my favorite comedy group and they all appear in this movie in one form or another. Also David Cross is great...I got a peek at Janeane Garofalo and Tina Fey in one scene. Amy Poehler as Martin's stripper girlfriend is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ehhh
I'm a huge fan of UCB, but this movie wasn't anything special. It felt like it was trying to be edgy just to be edgy. It's funny and painful at points, and it certainly feels like it was written by sketch comics. If you can keep your expectations low it's not a bad movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Movie, May 30, 2006

This is one of my favorite movies now, no exaggeration! I have seen it 6 times in the last week, and thats only because 3 of those times were with the commentary on, which by the way, is 10 times funnier than the already hilarious movie! I have been showing this flick to all of my friends and they all absolutely die laughing. If you love UCB you will love this movie - if you have never seen UCB, you will still probably enjoy this. I can't stress enough how funny the commentary is either - its just Matt Walsh and Ian Roberts riffing off each other for the duration of the whole movie - and they say absolutely nothing of substance about the production of the movie, and its great! Buy/see this movie!

5.0 out of 5 stars non-sensical but hilarious, January 4, 2007
This review is from: Martin & Orloff (DVD)
this is a comedy with little plot but is still quite possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen. If you liked the upright citizens brigade you'll love this movie. the acting was great the delivery of lines was excellent, and the wacky situations were hilarious.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good B-movie, could have been great., March 3, 2010

I am a big H Jon Benjamin fan, and bought this to add to my collection of his work. It is a low budget movie, but uses the comedy talent really well. However, I think that it would have been better as an animated series. The humor is in line with Archer and Frisky Dingo. Made with the exact same voices and sounds, same pacing, same premise, but animated...and I would give it 5 stars.

If you like UCB then you will like this movie. If you don't enjoy insanity, then you probably will not get it.

3.0 out of 5 stars What could have been, April 19, 2006
This review is from: Martin & Orloff (DVD)
Though funny in parts and starring many of my favorite performers (the UCB, David Cross, and Jonathan Benjamin to name a few) I can't give this movie an overall good review. It really needed to have tighter editing and less needless scenes, and the plot was a little weak. Also you could tell that this was a movie finished awhile ago that just took a long time to release. However the commentary track ruled, especially because Walsh and Roberts admitted, at least that's how it semed to me, that alot of it didn't work but they had fun. If you are a UCB fan like me check it out, but don't expect the Holy Grail.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great UCB commedy, February 27, 2006

If you liked "Upright Citizens Brigade" in its short run on Comedy central, you'll like this DVD. Pure moronic good humor. Their humor comes from the fact that they appear to lead lives that are completely normal for them and they are the ones that would be surprised that we don't think their lives are normal.
