This is some real blues, oozing from your speakers. J.B. may not have gotten the respect that he truly deserved but, man could that cat howl. If you get the chance to see "The Blues" series, then you will seee what I'm talking about. About this disc it's a good place to start with J.B. his other recordings are good to but, for this price you can't really go wrong. So do yourself a favor and pick this up.

This cd has just over half of the 28 tracks on the "Chess Blues Masters Series," which has been one of my favorite albums since its 1976 release. This is a "best of" of that compilation and what a selection it is!!! Every song is DYNAMITE!!! A MUST for every JB fan and who COULDN'T BE!!! Excellent SERVICE and PRICE from Norman G. Jensen @ Beaches Entertainment!!! 'Nuf said!
