I paired this ML sub with the LSI9's from Polk audio. They have seamless blended and the bottom end of the listen spectrum has opened up. This sub is fast, accurate and very musical. It has all of the features you need and the ability to dance around 20hz.

It has to be felt and heard to be believed. It is the perfect match to the rest of my piece by piece home theatre. What was truly suprising is it didn't just add bass but it added detail to my movies and music without overkill. There were very low frequency details that the ML Puritys I use just couldn't reproduce, it took what was a great system and made even better, any movie theatre would be jealous! It is quite adjustable and did take a bit of work to find the right combination for my room but it was worth the time. Hard to believe such power and accuracy could come from something so small, if you want it to sound the way the artist intended this is for you. Superlative sub!

Real happy with sub and especially the extra jacks in back to hook up good two channel listening. American Idol comes alive when watching with this thing. Love it!!

You may have read my reviews on my beloved Sources and the new Matinee that is part of my newly completed home theater/music system. Now to this wonderful device. Subwoofers have a huge spread of prices making it really hard to understand what you get for the price. Since I have had such a good time with the other items, I had trust with them. I am glad. The Abyss is fantastic. I hate the boomy sloppy bass so typical of the cheap subs that I heard in shops, so wasn't exactly excited about adding a sub. Clean, articulate and flexible and I love it. It there when it needs to be, adding weight and dynamics, but none of the slop that I hate. I also can hook it up so that it is set to do music with more ideal settings and for movies, which likes different settings. It also can be flipped to fire downward or forward which helped in getting it set up in my room.
