As others have said, the production quality was very clean and enjoyable to watch. I appreciated that the presentation was very concise in the same way that Neumeier's books are. It would be very easy for an expert like Neumeier to pontificate on this topic for hours on end but the way that he has boiled his message down was very refreshing. This DVD did leave me wondering a few things:

1. I'm not a large corporation with an established brand - I'm a new business with the desire to get my brand and brand strategy started on the right foot. I can see how some of the activities apply to me (Rich Dad, Onliness, Obituary), but I was left wondering if this presentation and Neumeier's books are really meant for me? That may seem like a silly question considering how much I've enjoyed everything that he has done, but I wonder if I'm enjoying it because he does such a good job at describing the weaknesses of so many organizations I've worked for and with?
2. I was hoping to see more examples of how organizations that Neumeier's company, Neutron, has worked with answered the questions to the three activities/questions listed above. It would have been very helpful to me to see both large companies and small/startups responses to these exercises.
3. This is another request for examples, but I also wanted more examples of how charismatic brands are applying their brand strategy and design thinking to innovate, to design, to kick ass.

I don't want this review to come off negative in any way, but I did want to leave my two bits on how I felt it could be improved.

This is an inspiring and excellent DVD. The wisdom and focus I acquired from this video is monumental. I thought that I knew about branding. Turns out, I had a lot to learn. The rich information is this video has helped me refocus my business and I am already seeing great results.

I have been a fan of Marty Neumeier ever since I found his Brand Gap slide show on slideshare - it prompted me to first order the book of the same name and then ZAG, both of them where great! So last week i took the plunge and ordered the Designful Company and the DVD Innovation Workshop and I have not regretted it! I work as a brand consultant in Denmark and must say that to find a consultant that can say so much in as few words as Marty Neumeier does is a true accomplishment!

The DVD is very inspirational and gives you a quick overview of the main talking points in all three of Marty's previous books and also provides you with loads of execises you can conduct in your own workshop. This DVD will be part of our new consultants key curriculum in the future.

So thanks Marty for doing the DVD and to the rest of you - push buy and go pay!!! You won't regret it!!!
