Folks, you can buy 24 of these at Wal-Mart for less than $5. Why would you pay the $16 being asked here? The product is great. Somehow I missed eating these things until my late 40s while my friends were eating them in college. Now I'm trying to play catch up but I would never pay the exorbitant prices being charged here and really can't understand why Amazon is so out-of character with its price when usually so competitive with Wally World.

This is ramen, a cheap, easy, and fast noodle meal that is pretty cheap. Its got its pros and cons, but mostly its pretty alright. The chicken flavor is good. Some people find it too salty, I like it as is. The price here on Amazon is comparable to some groceries when its not on sale, higher than others. Still, if you're like me and want to avoid the stores as much as possible, maybe paying a $1 more for 24 isn't such a big deal. Nutritionally its pretty meh. You could do a lot better. But its also a versatile base- you can always add lots of veggies, meat, other spices, pretty much anything to this to dress it up and make it a better meal option. We keep it in the house for quick lunches when no one wants to cook a meal just for themselves.

I'm not so sure why the other guy didn't like this so much, I LOVE IT!! In fact, it might just be one of my favorite foods around. It's tried and true, rarely cooks wrong, and always good to warm the belly and soul. I only but this flavor, it's so good, why deviate from it? I have tried other brands before, bit Maruchan makes the best ramen noodles in all of time.

I have eaten ramen since I was a kid and still love it later as an adult!

It's cheap and tasty but I would only eat it maybe once a week since it's high in sodium...unless you do what I do which is use half the seasoning packet.

I drain the hot water out except a little to help keep the noodles moist and pour in half the seasoning packet and stir.

I'll eat these hot ramen noodles with a cold beverage...and it's heaven!

I LOVE RAMEN NOODLES!

I am not in college and I am not 16. I am crazy about ramen! I put very little water in the pot and cook it with the flavor instead of adding it later.

I got my package promptly in the mail, but when I opened the giant bag (which, oddly, is designed to look like a bag of ramen noodles), it actually contained ramen noodles, not a comforter set! I will give the product two stars, though, because now at least I have a six month supply of ramen.

A friend was talking about all her Ramen recipes today, and I was developing a craving
so I ran to the store and was disappointed to find they are no longer 5/$1, but I bought
them anyway with some cream of chicken soup, all you need is one heaping spoonful to
transform this into something special.

I make this jail style, just get creative and only put in half the water it calls for. You can
afford to get crazy with your ingredients cause this ramen will accommodate anything from
Fritos to pepperoni or even a can of tuna. My favorite addition is homemade kimchi, its
unbelievable.

Maruchen is the most widely available and for my money the most consistent in quality. I've
got 4 more of these that I think will be gone before this time tomorrow night!
