This is one of my favorite candy items, and one I think is well purchased by anyone with a sweet tooth, any gum lover, or any one looking for a taste of the orient. Three of the flavors in the package: Peach, Mixed Fruit, and Green Apple are in a `brick' form. They are about 1 in X ½ in and are very soft and easy to chew. The remaining four flavors: Orange, Strawberry, Grape, and Melon all come in small boxes that contain four gumballs each.

Each flavor is powerful without being overpowering. They have a smooth, almost creamy texture when chewed, and blow nice big bubbles. Also, they're not overly sweet, or grainy with sugar. My teeth are often sensitive if gum is too sugary, yet these offer no obstacles, only mouth appeal.

I highly recommend this gum!

be prepared for tiny boxes of gum with about four teeny pieces of gum in each flavor. although the gum is very flavorful and unique the price paid to sample flavors is extreme. i ordered individual flavors of orange, grape and strawberry at much cheaper prices and was happy with these afterwards.

I like a piece of gum once in a while, after a meal or if I am getting a dry mouth. I cannot chew a single brand of American gum because even the regular (non-sugar-free) gum has aspartame (check the package!) and I don't use aspartame.

I suppose gum manufacturers put aspartame in gum to make the sweetness last longer, who knows? I dislike it. So I have not had a single piece of gum in years until I got a small box of this Marukawa gum as an after-dinner "mint" at our local sushi bar.

The gum comes in a little one-inch box with the fruit pictured on the outside. I tasted Strawberry (melon is next.) The ingredients featured sugar but..no artificial sweetener (yes, there is artificial flavor, but there is also natural strawberry juice included.) The gum is in the form of four little round pink pebbles. Two are enough for a decent serving of gum, so you can share it or you can slowly add more gum to chew, as the flavor fades rather quickly. This is no problem, as I only like to chew a bit for a few minutes to freshen my mouth. If you like a lot of flavor over time, dose yourself with the pebbles one by one.

In any case, this is a delicious bubble gum and I plan to keep it on hand in my office for days when I want to have a quick sweet after a meal.

This is a Japanese bubble gum that can be bought at Japanese, Korean, and Chinese stores in the US at a way cheaper price. It was less than a half at China town when I last bought them which was about couple of months ago.

First of all, this is a tiny pack of 7 pieces of gum. I thought it was 7 multiple packs. Anyway, I put a piece in my mouth and at first it tasted like wax. Then I got the unusually sweet flavor that lasted for a few seconds and promptly spit it out. Disgusting. And grossly overpriced!

The gum tastes OK. But $1 for a single piece of gum is not reasonable.

Let me just get to the chase. The gum is sticky, small, and very wierd afterwards. Im glad it was just a sample, because I am not getting this ever again. I would stick with Bubblicous and Bazooka for life.

This gum does contain "d-sorbitol", even though the ingredients on the amazon page does not list it. I wish it didnt, but oh well. The gum has really great flavor and is great to blow bubbles with. However, the flavor is quite short lived. My favorite is the melon, which tastes just like honeydew.

The gums were good but for $4.95, I was expecting more. I had a good laugh with i read the foam insert under one of the sampler boxes, which read: NOT EDIBLE. OMG! if they have to tell you its because everyone expects more out of the package.

The flavours in this variety pack really are delicious, but the biggest problem is that the taste fades extremely quickly. Most Americans are spoilt on long-lasting gum. I personally hate chewing gum for too long, but also dislike chewing it too briefly. Weigh your ideal gum-preferences before buying this. If you don't want to chew for a very short amount of time, try looking for another gum.
