5.0 out of 5 stars Super Fun
I've got a 5 yr old boy who loves Super Heroes and especially the Super Hero Squad (we've got the comics, DVD, action figures...). I got him the Helicarrier and he was thrilled and it continues to be his favorite toy. After two months, everything still works well and he still can't get enough of the theme song. Really good fun and a great toy for any kid who loves Super...

1.0 out of 5 stars Would not recommend
I was so excited to purchase this toy for my 3 year old son hoping to have a place where he could use his other super hero figures. Well, I was disappointed, the sides keep falling off. It does not close properly and the buttons for the sounds are too hard to push (even for me). As an adult I even have a hard time pressing the trigger for the shooting disk. I would not...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fighting with the Super-Heroes is so fun!, November 24, 2010

Ah! Super-heroes. Which boy wouldn't like them? Seriously. I know that my three boys love them. Whether it is Superman, Spider-man, Hulk, Iron Man and so on, my kids (yes even my daughter) enjoys watching them.

You probably have seen the Super-Hero Squad on television. Not having cable, we didn't realized that there was a kid version of the Super-Hero shows.

Well, Hasbro has now a selection of toys based on the television show Super-Hero Squad. And let me tell you that any boys (and girls) would love to play with them.

For the purpose of this review, I received the Super-Hero Headquarters. This fun playset will entertain your boys for hours. The command centre includes lights and sounds to create a more realistic make believe game.

This set even include one super-hero that is getting much exposure since a couple of years. Iron Man is looking forward to play with your boys and fight for justice

This was a great addition to my 4 years old collection of Imaginext Batcave and the DC Batman figures. We have also purchased many of the Superhero squad figures to go along with this Headquarters. It plays a nifty little song, "Who'll save the day, The SUPERHERO SQUAD..." that my son likes to play often and has even asked for me to find the CD of the song so we can listen to it in the car! Ahem, anyway, the Toy is great and seems well made. These toys along with the Imaginext are the best purchases we've made for our son...he doesn't seem to be getting tired of them and anytime we have other kids over they get engrossed with these toys!! If you have a child who loves superhero's, invest in these toys...you won't be sorry!!

3.0 out of 5 stars My kids love it, but it's very cheap, December 8, 2011

If my kids didn't love this thing, I would just throw it away! It's not worth your money...the parts always fall off and I had to search for them. It is very hard to close and the buttons are kinda hard to push. The only good thing is the theme song that it plays, but you can only hear it if you shoot a disk out...Those darn knob things on the side serve no purpose. We took them off because if you moved it or opened the doors, they fell off!! You would think that they could have this made of better quality...But, for whatever reason, my kids love it. But then again, they love anything super hero!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap; does not work..returned, September 13, 2011

I bought this for our sons and it never worked properly. We put batteries in it, but nothing happened. The entire headquarters would not stay shut either. This toy is very cheaply made for the price that is charged. The packaging is also deceitful as a child may easily think that more than one character comes with it. Only Iron Man is included; all others are sold separately. Avoid this toy and chose a superhero toy that is made better.

1.0 out of 5 stars POC - piece of crap!, August 27, 2011
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Marvel Super Hero Headquarters (Toy)
This toy is junk junk junk and if I had paid for it I would have taken it back. It was gift for my sons 6th birthday and it is a great concept but very cheap and poor design.

Good:
1. The gun feature that shoots the disks while you hold it from behind like a gun
2. The colors are nice and boy appropriate

The Bad:
1. Cheap think plastic for the doors that open up and if you lightly bump them, they will break off or at least mess up the alignment.
2. The door barely align anyways and you have to jiggle and wiggle them into place forcefully
3. The sounds are soooooooooooooo loud and there is no volume control
4. It does not come with batteries
5. The only way to make it make sounds is by either shooting a disk or pushing the button to open the doors. Why not just a simple button on the side or something. My kids always get made because they have to open the thing up just to get the sounds and they hate having to align the doors to get them closed again.
6. The button to open the doors and make sounds is so hard to push. There are two of them that look exactly the same, one on the left and one on the right which is confusing for younger kids because of course only one works!
7. Lastly... those stupid round jet pack things. There are four of them and all they do is fall off. If you bump them, or open he cheap plastic doors, or move the set, or just anything will knock those stupid things off. If my kids wouldn't cry I would totally throw those away.

Got this for our son's 5th birthday. He loves the toy and loves to shoot the discs. The side "engines" fall off very often, but he doesn't seem to mind putting them back on. We weren't too sure how the size would work with his other "super hero" toys, but he doesn't seem to mind the variations.
