This box set collects the first 6 animated films from the 'Marvel Animated Features' collection: Ultimate Avengers - The Movie, Ultimate Avengers 2 (Rise of the Panther), The Invincible Iron Man, Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme, The Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, and Hulk Vs.. Note that these are exactly the same discs you would get if you bought the movies individually, right down to the shrink-wrapped packaging. The Hulk Vs disc is the single disc edition and not the 2-disc set which had a few more bonus features.

As with all other similar collected box sets, the value you get ultimately depends on how many of these films you already own. If you're a die-hard Marvel fan, you probably bought most of these as they came out. But if you only own a few (say 1 or 2), this is a nice way to snag all the current releases in one go. Or as a gift to someone who hasn't checked these out yet.

In all, Marvel's got a good slate here. Those interested in Iron Man and the Hulk will be glad to know they pop up quite frequently throughout the 6 films, while the Avengers get some decent exposure in anticipation of their forthcoming movie and a film for the lesser-known Doctor Strange is a pleasant surprise. The quality of the films ranges from good to excellent - the early entries run into the usual story, acting, and animation issues associated with direct-to-video releases, but Marvel seems to learn with every entry and the newest one (Hulk Vs) is particularly excellent. The films are PG to PG-13 and a little more adult than usual Saturday morning fare.

A good gift set for the uninitiated. Looking forward to the next animated releases.

This is a fantastic collection if you dont already own the individual animated films. I dont have this exact product, but I do have ALL the movies that make it up. The animation is fantastic, the story lines are great you will not be disappointed, assuming you ARE a Marvel Fan. There are character surprises in Wolverine versus Hulk and Thor versus Hulk that I just loved, I have been a Marvel Fan my whole life. I would recommend this product, 5 stars, buy it. I hope they make a movie with the Scarlet Witch I just love her.

I purchased this 6 film box set for both me and my son, and we have now watched these movies multiple times. All 6 are individually great, and the Hulk vs series is worth buying this alone. For true fans or even casual fans, this is a must have and you can't beat the price.

I cannot honestly review this product as it was a Christmas gift for my brother. However, I did see three of the films myself and, based on those movies, I would recommend the package as a whole.

Hulk vs. Thor, Hulk vs. Wolverine, Avengers 1-3, origin of Dr. Strange and his first fight with Dormammu, origin of Iron Man and his fight with Mandarin and more. Hulk vs. Thor is worth the price of this collection alone! These ain't your daddies comics, fanboy! Veeiiollent!

I had previously seen the iron man and thought it was OK, so I figured I'd pick up this set. All the flicks were good. It was nice to see the origin of Cap. America in the first Avengers. The second Avengers give us Black Panther, who was mostly a support character when I still read comics, so it was nice to see him in a more involved role and some history. In Iron Man it was great to see his old enemy Mandarin. Although I've never been a fan of Dr. Strange, the story kept my interest and was glad it was included in the set. Next Avengers is the one I was most worried about, but it ended up being pretty good with an excellent plot line for the future. Hulk vs. was OK. I know others thought it was the best, but I'd rather have story than Hulk beating up Thor or Wolverine (there's too many other wolverine movies as it is). Overall, the set is worth the buy if you like this sort of thing.

Two of the three DVDs that we have opened were damaged. Its a 6 DVD set but the other three seem solid.
