My son loved this watch until the battery died... It seems the watch was made to not be able to to replace the battery. So now the watch is useless. BTW I took it to our local watch guy because I thought I might be wrong. But he assured me this was made not to replace a battery and just to buy another...

It looks like a nice watch and I am hoping the adjustable band will fit our 8 year old grandson. I would have given it more stars if it had come ready to use right out of the package, but the batteries (if there are any...I haven't taken the cover off yet), were dead or not there! That was a huge disappointment. I had wanted to give it to our grandson but will have to wait until we can get a battery for it. And they don't tell you what size battery it takes so I can't even order one! We will have to take it to a store and have them look. That isn't as easy as it sounds in our situation since we live in Alaska and are 270 miles from the nearest store that could help us. I think watches should arrive in working condition.

I bought this watch for my son, and was initially very happy with the product. Today, I took the watch to the store to have the battery changed, but neither I nor the clerk could get the damn thing open!! I decided to do some research on how to open the back, and here I am, unsuccessful and frustrated, and might I add, very pissed off! $35 for a product whose battery is not replaceable?

Amazon needs to pull this item from their listing and put an end to such practices. This is robbery. There is nowhere in the item description where it says that the battery cannot be replaced. Buyer be ware.

Our five year old grandson was thrilled with the spider man watch. We were pleased with the teaching/learning options on the watch, hour and minute hands as opposed to being digital. It was easy to teach him the five minute intervals on a clock which he masted in just a couple of days.

My oldest son loves Spiderman. We bought this for his Birthday. He has been very good with it, he has not been hard on this at all. About a month after buying it one of the pins ripped off of one side. The pin is missing and the watch band is broken.
For the price and the brand I was VERY disappointed.

Do not buy. It's a complete waste of money!! My son received for Christmas and within 48 hrs the side dial fell off with just the use of setting the time. The dial was not hit or abused by the user in any fashion. Then, the ultimate disappointment came 4 days later when the face of the watch became wet from a simple hand washing leaving Spider-Man's blue and red body as a rusty colored smear!! The watch had no water contact prior to the hand washing!!! It's WAY over priced. I would expect this from a $5 watch; NOT a $30+. I recommend the My First Timex for kids even though the face is small and not so cute...it's priced right. The Timex outlasts it's $15 price tag.

This watch is really neat but the words on the hands are almost illegible. To improve this product, I would make the hands larger and change the wrist band to something other than velcro...it sticks to clothes and my son needs me to put in on and take it off. Not sure how long this type of band will last...will probably end up replacing it as long as the watch itself lasts.

I brought this for my grandson who is in the first grade learning to tell time. He loved it and is now able when I ask him what time it is he can tell me.

Bought two for my grandsons. One Captain America and this one, Spider-Man. This is a great watch. Easy for the kids to get on and it stays on. Well built, and in a year or two they will be able to start using the how to tell time feature of this watch.

My son loved receiving this watch as a gift. The dial to assist with teaching time is a nice feature. The knob on the side for setting the time fell off after 2 wks. Granted, my 7 yr old was probably playing with it and over used it, but I still don't think it should have broken off.
