Great figure. Easily the best in the line. If it weren't for the Onslaught piece he came with, I'd have liked to see a tied up Gwen Stacy so that we all could re-enact the Brooklyn Bridge scene!

Insane to the max and one of Spider-man's most tenacious and dangerous foes the Green Goblin has all the potential to be silly but manages to still come of as pretty creepy despite his green and purple ensemble.
His figure sports some fine sculpt details. The green scaly texture on his outfit is perfect. His face mask is in its trademark cackling grin. His got a flowing purple hat, purple gloves and boots and a pumpkin bomb attached to his left hand ready to throw. He looks simple enough in a picture but really stands out up close making his sculpt actually very impressive. He sports over 35 articulation points including double joint knees and elbows, cut wrists and calves, head, wrist, single finger pin, the works. His accessories include a comic, a VS card; you can use the card board back as a backdrop if you want using an included stand and a creepy right leg of the build a figure, Onslaught. He also has his pumpkin bomb attached to his hand, his bomb carrying man-purse and the coolest accessory of all, a full sized Goblin Glider you snap together and he can actually stand on to display. Between his sculpt, articulation and accessories this is probably one of the coolest figures in a while. Onslaught himself is a bit of an unusual cat. A kind of solid projection of Professor X's bad side combined with a bit of Magneto and taken a life of its own he was bad news for a while. Not sure if he was really that popular a villain though, although he did set some heavy events into motion. The figure is not the giant build a figure (BAF) we're used to from past series and is more in scale with the regular big figures like Abomination. However, he is really massive, as in heavy and bigger than most any regular figure but don't expect a giant. He comes up to about Apocalypse's waist. He is really detailed too though and has tons of articulation so is a cool figure and they went all out on the sculpt. Still, it would have been neat to see him in a bit of a bigger size.

This is one of the best figures in this series. The figure is nicely detailed and articulated very well. He looks just the way he does in the classic comic books. He comes with a cool Goblin glider to pose him on, his shoulder "bag of tricks", and his left hand has a pumpkin bomb attached to it. The comic book that he comes with is excellent! It's the now legendary Amazing Spiderman #122 where Spiderman and the Green Goblin have their final battle with each other immediately after the death of Gwen Stacy--Spiderman's first love interest. The Green Goblin had killed her in the previous issue and now Spidey is going to take him down. There is a variant figure of this character available, too. The head sculpt shows the Green Goblin without his mask--as Norman Osborn. Norman has a crazy look on his face and looks great. It's basically the same figure with a different head. If you can't find the variant, don't worry. You're not missing that much. Marvel Legends continues with its "Build A Figure" campaign. The Green Goblin comes with a piece of a larger figure that can be assembled when the other figures--and their respective pieces in the series--are purchased. When completed, this series builds the X-Men villain, Onslaught. Onslaught isn't as big as the past characters (Galactus, the Sentinel, Apocalypse, or Giant Man), but he still looks fine and is nicely detailed. Onslaught is a great character and has good articulation, but the characters in this series sell themselves and I would have bought them regardless of the Onslaught figure. This series of figures also includes a character-dedicated diorama, or backdrop, that the figure can be posed in front of for display purposes. The Green Goblin is in good supply, but his variant is not. But, since only the head sculpts are different, you're getting the same figure anyway. I highly recommend this figure to Marvel Legends/Spiderman fans.
