This review is from: Marvel Legends: Galactus Series - Professor X 6" Action Figure (Toy)
If you like the X-Men, you must get this figure.
A few years back, They put a couple professor X figures out in concert with the blockbuster X-men movies. Those were very limited in their articulation, and they looked like Patrick Stewart! This new Marvel Legends Professor Xavier is in the same old wheelchair yet, the figure has been redesigned and is much more articulate this time around! Plus, the old figure's legs were very loose and useless for posing. I understand the character is paraplegic, but in the comics he experienced periods of full-mobility (not to mention when he was in the astral plane he could walk and run etc...). Well, this new figure has the use of his legs so you can stand him up and, if necessary, have him throw down a couple roundhouse kicks to magneto and his boys!
Overall, a most excellent figure indeed!

5.0 out of 5 stars MARVEL LEGENDS PROFESSOR X IS EXCELLENT!!, May 3, 2005

This figure is great!! It has loads of potential for kids, collectors, and customizers. As a figure itself, the X-Men wouldn't be complete without their founder and leader, Professor X. The figure is perfectly articulated so as not to destroy the appearance of his suit. All the joints were tight and nicely concealed. His wheelchair is the same as the one as the movie Professor X, only painted differently. There is also a Cerebro helmet that fits snugly on the figure's head and an X-Men comic that has Prof. X battling another mentally powerful mutant--a real meeting of the minds. For you customizers out there, if you ever wanted to put Dr. Strange or Mr. Fantastic in a suit, then this is the figure for you. He is part of the Galactus Series. Which means instead of getting a wall mountable base, you get a piece of Galactus' huge 16 inch body. When you get all 7 figures in this series, the pieces can be joined together to make the 8th figure in the series--Galactus, Devourer of Worlds and arch nemesis of the Fantastic Four. A shrewd marketing technique by ToyBiz. Everyone will surely buy all the figures in order to get Galactus. He truly does look amazing when he is assembled. Durability is good and the paint job is fine. I highly recommend this figure and would definitely buy another one if something were to happen to the first one. He is relatively well stocked, so finding him shouldn't be a big problem.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some are Better in Theory, May 30, 2011
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Marvel Legends: Galactus Series - Professor X 6" Action Figure (Toy)
It Takes a Lot of Imagination to Play with a Guy in a Wheelchair Who Reads Minds. Certainly Not a Reason to Steer Clear of Him. He's Essential to Any X-Men Collection and Comes with (Arguably) the Most Important Piece of Galactus. It's Just Hard to Come Up with Interesting Ways to Pose Him. But You'll Never Have to Worry about Him Falling Over : ) I Did Fashion a Makeshift Blanket from an Old Flannel Shirt which Works for Covering His Legs, to Give Another Option. An Unexpected Bonus Came in the Sense that Any X-Men Figure that has Trouble Standing On it's Own, that Figure can Now Push Xavier around. That's Great if You've Purchased Any of the Movie Tie-In Figures, Particularly the Females which are Notorious for Falling Over. The Sculpt and Paint Jobs are Top Notch with Great Attention to Detail, Especially On the Chair. Certainly Not the Worst in the Galactus (or Any Other) Series, and a Long Awaited Figure in the Marvel Legends Realm.

5.0 out of 5 stars Proffeser X the good, the bad, and the awsome, May 6, 2005
A Kid's Review
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Marvel Legends: Galactus Series - Professor X 6" Action Figure (Toy)
Proffeser X is an excellent addition to any marvel legends set. He's funny to roll off tables. Here are the Pros and cons.
CONS
1. Wheel chair is made of cheap plastic.
2. He slides around when you roll him across the kitchen floor <Not very good traction.>
PROS
1. He comes with a frekin head, but at least you actually get a face.
2. He sort of has a stand if you count his wheel chair.
3. He's better than the movie figure
4.You can put him in a lot of funny posittions because he is so articulated <Macerena, Raise the roof, Pepto besmol comersial dance
5. He's loose, but not easy to break.
6. More acrobatic positions than Nightcrawler or a spiderman figure. <He's old, bald, and handicaped, but he do more things than spiderman.
PRO AND CON
1. He stays in his wheel chair with two pegs in the back. It's also bad because you can't use him as a handicaped crash dumy.!
