This review is from: Marvel Legends Legendary Riders Figure: Task Master (Toy)
This is one of those great Marvel characters who nameless, clueless execs would have considered only after Skateboarding Wolverine and Wolverine Shaving were made. Kudos to the guys at Toy Biz for taking a chance and promoting non-A-list characters. This is a memorable comics character who makes a distinctive and formidable action figure. He comes with lots of great accessories and looks great. The face could be more skull like, but over all this is a keeper.

TASKMASTER IS AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS YOU CAN GET...,

This review is from: Marvel Legends Legendary Riders Figure: Task Master (Toy)
In a nutshell--get this figure. It's spectacular! Taskmaster is one of the best figures in this series. He is an Avengers villain, but has also gone up against Spiderman and Daredevil. He has the ability to perfectly duplicate any fighting style he observes only once-as long as it doesn't require a superhuman ability like strength or flight. This figure comes packed with accessories for him to do battle with: a shield like Captain America, a sword and sheath like the Black Knight, a cane like Daredevil, and a handgun to rival the shooting abilities of Nick Fury or the Punisher. Plus, whatever accessories he doesn't have, you could borrow from other Marvel Legends figures like Hawkeye, Elektra, Cable, Nick Fury, the Punisher, or Deadpool. The options are only limited to the amount of accessories available-and there is plenty available. Taskmaster has the same body sculpt as Bullseye from the Galactus Series, so there is excellent articulation and the joints are tight and well concealed. The paint job is very good, but they shaded much of the white areas of his costume with blue for that "shadowy" effect. Not necessary, in my opinion. Other nice details include his hooded cape. It's not too heavy and is attached to his chest. I do not advise taking it off unless you really want it off. His belt is detailed with neat, little pouches and a length of rope (none of which open or come off, in case you're wondering). The belt is not attached to the figure, so it moves around a little when you don't want it to, but no big deal. His head sculpt is a little different than it looks like on the package, but either version looks really good on the figure. He also has a character-dedicated vehicle, but it's the same hover bike that came with Hawkeye in Marvel Legends 7. Also included is a copy of the Avengers #196 comic book--which is excellent for showing you Taskmaster in action and explaining his abilities for someone who is not familiar with him. He is not heavily stocked so getting, or replacing, one might be hard to accomplish. He is, without a doubt, worth the time and money to get him for your Marvel Legends/Spiderman/Avengers fan. They will be very pleased. Get him while you can.

Okay this figure wasn't exactly what I hoped for, hes built a lot smaller then shown and his belted sheath cant fit over his head. All and all its an okay figure. Maybe if i take him off his Marty Mcfly crotch rocket and try to do a little good pose-ability with him my mind will change. Hope fully it will, with this figure you either love it or hate it, I am kinda in the middle.
