This is one of the better Legendary Riders as he comes with a vehicle that both makes sense, and looks great. And we finally have a true "villian" for our two (or three depending on whether or not you count the Series VII varaint as a seperate figure) Ghost Rider figures from the ML lines.
Vengeance looks great, and I agree the bone coloring on the package and promotional photos looks great, but the purple is more comic acurate.
One of the decent Rider figures, and one that is not overly hard to find.

Vengeance is another great action figure in the Marvel Legends Legendary Riders series. One of the best. It's a new body sculpt as near as I can tell. The articulation is very good and all the joints were tight and well concealed. His picture on the package differs a little than the actual product inside. In the picture, you can see that his skull and the bony tusks growing out of his chest are bone-colored. But on the actual product, they are purple. I don't know why they did that, but I prefer the bone color instead of the purple. Other than that, the paint job is very good. There are lots of great details all over this figure. Such as the spikes on his shoulder, head, and hands and the bone chains that adorn his forearms, belt, and jacket. The leather jacket looks nice, too. Even his character-dedicated vehicle looks great. The ribcage and flaming wheels really help to make it look as demonic as he is. The figure doesn't fit that well on the vehicle, but that could be unique to the figure that I purchased. There are two pegs near the seat that the figure is placed upon. There are matching holes on the back of the figure's thighs where the pegs fit. It takes a little manipulating and pushing, but you can get him on there and put him in some nice poses. I love the idea of character-dedicated vehicles. It would have been nicer if they had a light and sound feature or fired a missile or something, but this is a good start. He also comes with a Ghost Rider #39 comic book--which is OK at showing who and what Vengeance is. But one thing I did noticed is that Vengeance has the purple head and tusks in the comic book, so maybe the picture on the package is wrong. (The bone color still looks nice, though) Vengeance seems to be fairly easy to purchase, so getting one or replacing a broken one should be simple. But, if you are deciding whether to get one or not, I highly recommend that you do. This figure is very good--any Marvel Legends fan would be pleased.

Hey there! Just thought I'd give an objective take for everyone considering making a purchase of the Vengeance figure from the Legendary Riders series. I've been collecting Marvel Legends figures for around three years now, so I figure it wouldn't hurt to have one more opinion on the market.

This figure is, by and large, one of the BEST figures from the Legendary Riders series (tieing with Logan and Hulkbuster Iron Man in terms of figure awesomeness.) The figure is incredibly poseable, very detailed, and pretty darned durable (he's taken more than one spill from a high shelf with NO adverse affect to the figure itself.) If you're a Ghost Rider fan, he's definitely a figure to pick up. And the Vengeance Cycle he comes with is a great accessory piece as well, especially if you have the other two Ghost Riders in the earlier series posed on THEIR cycles as well. The only thing you need to know ahead of time is that the box art is MISTAKEN; the skull and rib cage of the figure are actually purple (comic-accurate), rather than bone-white like the picture. Get this figure, especially at THIS price.
