5.0 out of 5 stars One of the X-men's greatest foes immortalized in plastic.
Mr. Sinister is from Marvel Legends Series 10, where each figure contains a piece of a giant Sentinal. Sinister includes the right leg. You'll definatly want to collect each figure in the wave to construct the Sentinal. Mr. Sinister is well known as one of the greatest foes of the X-men, and this figure captures him in all of his sinister details. He has 38 points of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Sinsiter Fun
Mr. Sinister. With a last name like Sinister he had no chance of being a good guy did he?

The sculpt on this figure is great. The facial detail is spot on and he indeed looks sinister. He seems taller than most of the other figures in the series and good and bulky so is probably one of the most durable for play. I do wish his tradmark "ribbon?" cape was...

Mr. Sinister. With a last name like Sinister he had no chance of being a good guy did he?

The sculpt on this figure is great. The facial detail is spot on and he indeed looks sinister. He seems taller than most of the other figures in the series and good and bulky so is probably one of the most durable for play. I do wish his tradmark "ribbon?" cape was a bit wider as I remember it being pretty big in the comics but they did a good job emulating it. My only real gripe, and this really does bug me a bit, is why are there not cut wrists? This really limits the posability of the hands and seems like such an obvious joint to leave out. It even could have been hidden well right behind his braclets. Oh well, I guess this is a minor complaint but you get used to the cut wrist on all the other figures. He does have the individually articulated fingers so that helps some.

Good paint, great sculpt and very durable with lots of articluation (except those darn wrists) plus a piece of the huge and cool mutant destroying 16" Sentinel make this a good buy.

Mr. Sinister is well known as one of the greatest foes of the X-men, and this figure captures him in all of his sinister details. He has 38 points of articulation, making him incredibly poseable. The only major point that he is missing is a rotating wrist. However, the rest of the sculpt is so good, that it can be forgiven. This is one of the best figures in the wave, if not one of the best Marvel Legends, period.

Sinister has always been my favorite of all the X-MEN along with Apocalypse! So I ordered this toy and it made it to my house in about 6 days I pulled out the toy and it is beautifull it has so much detail. I couldn't have been happier with this toy it is also very very sturdy! Now I just need to find one in a larger size!

5.0 out of 5 stars fantasticly sinister., March 1, 2009

This review is from: Marvel Legends Sentinel Series Figure: Mr. Sinister (Toy)
This particular figure is my personal favorite of the marvel legends line. The sculpt is incredible and this figure is extremely detailed. The flexible cape and gorgeous metallic like finish on the costume are fantastic. True to character, most of the costume is blue, but is shaded with about 4 different variations of the color.
This figure has about as much articulation as the rest of the ML line, but is bigger than most and seems more durable than most. The only articulation missing is the wrists oddly, but other than that this figure is top notch. It is nicely balanced and comes with a stand to help, if you can't get it to stand on it's own. If you are a fan of Sinister, marvel legends, or the x-men, this figure is a must have.

Marvel Legends is figure line that fails to disappoint. Sinister has all the detail, and articulation you expect from the ML line.
Sinster is huge and meanacing, and captures the character's likeness, and attitude very well.
One issue I found with this figure is that he has trouble standing on his own. A very simple solution to this problem exists however. If you disassemble the plastic collectors base he comes with and reassemble the base, minus the middle piece, so that it is shorter (the base comes with 2 points of articulation, in 4 pieces), the top will rotate and is at the perfect hieght to place in the accomidating hole on Sinister's backside, and will allow for all manner of standing poses. This is the same base that comes with Deadpool, Vision, and the rest of the Sentinel Series figures. If you have one then you'll understand what I'm talking about with the articualtion, and see how easy it is to disassemble and reassemble, simply unscrew the screws at the joint.
This is a great figure and X-men fans especially will want one.

5.0 out of 5 stars MR. SINISTER IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THIS SERIES..., December 24, 2005

This review is from: Marvel Legends Sentinel Series Figure: Mr. Sinister (Toy)
From the Sentinel Series, (or Series 10), is the Mr. Sinister action figure. He looks amazing!! He's big and his articulation is very good. All of the joints were tight and nicely concealed on this figure. The paint job is great and there are a lot of nice details on this figure that make him a must-have for kids and collectors. The foremost of these are his cape and his individually movable fingers. He really has an excellent appearance. I can't say enough good things about this figure. He is definitely one of the very best figures in the Sentinel series. He also comes with a copy of the classic X-Men #243 comic book. As I mentioned, he is part of the Sentinel Series. Which means 2 things this time-you get a wall mountable display base AND you get a piece of the Sentinel's huge 16-inch body. The display base is simply a pedestal-style base of clear plastic to make the character seem as if they are flying or in the middle of a jump. But, it can be placed on the wall or on a sturdy, flat surface for displaying. It is basically the same base that came with the Vision and Deadpool figures. When you get 6 of the 7 figures in this series (Mystique and Omega Red have the same body piece), the pieces can be joined together to make the 8th figure in the series-the Sentinel!! The massive, mechanical menace that hunts down the X-Men and other mutants and eliminates them. Everyone will surely buy all the figures they will need in order to get the Sentinel. It truly looks awesome when it is assembled. Then again, the character selection in this series is so exciting; you'll want to buy them regardless of the Sentinel. This figure is not that well stocked, so finding another may not be easy. ToyBiz is trying to make sure there is enough of every character so that everyone has a chance to build the Sentinel. Get him quick because he will surely sell out.
