This toy rocks. The color is first-rate. It's also highly detailed. It also coms with 3 bonus half fighters,a stand and a mini-stair way. I give this set a 10 out of 10.

Kudos to Marvel Select on this fantastic rendition of Omega Flight's Arachne! In an action scene against three armed HYDRA agents, Julia Carpenter (in her redesigned costume) as Arachne can be posed on the enclosed "temple of doom" set's steps firing a venom blast which you can angle her arm in multiple directions.

My preference is angling her blast so it appears that it is scorching past a HYDRA agent's face (the one who has turned his face sideways as if he is reeling from being hit). Once you set up Arachne's pose (and, yes, please aware it can take some time to position her well at the top of the set or on its steps), the rest is easy to do (including switching places with the HYDRA agents).

The one thing I should pass on about the venom blast accessory is that it has to be attached to Arachne's wrist like a bracelet. Even so, the bracelet can easily break off, so please beware. Still, if that happens, I found that you can improvise by using super-glue to attach the blast directly to her palm while giving the figure a more realistic look.

All in all, it is a fantastic investment for this stellar action heroine.

P.S. There are two other versions of this figure (well, sort of). First, there is Jessica "Spider-Woman" Drew in her original Hydra costume (where her ravenous black hair is hidden under her mask). The second is Jessica Drew again in her familiar Spider-Woman costume. Both figures come with the same "altar"-like set and the same hapless HYDRA agents.
