Marvel Select: Online Exclusive 'Red' Hulk Action Figure

With the release of Marvel Select Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man (Extremis version) I greatly anticipated the release of The Incredible Hulk and Red Hulk. At this time in the comics no one knows who the Red Hulk is. What is known is that he is a killer, he is strong enough to fight Hulk and Thor and win and the madder he gets the hotter he becomes (even to the point of turning sand into glass). Ok the figure: Basic body type is the same as the Marvel Select Hulk. I was afraid they would simply paint the green Hulk plastic red to save money but no he is completely molded in red plastic with nice paint applications. 14 points of articulation allow for some very nice displays. The face sculpt really captures the look from the comics. You won't confuse this guy with the green Hulk. I know they are the same body types but they really do look so different side by side. In my opinion this version of the Red Hulk looks much better that the Marvel Legends Build a figure. This figure is more detailed and much larger. Both the Red and Green Hulks are very heavy and very sturdy. I would watch my fingers when posing him. The plastic is so solid it can pinch a finger a lot harder than I expected. The display base is just an added bonus. By itself the Red Hulk as a great value for the price. Displayed with the equally awesome green Hulk they make a great display set. Although not as poseable as the Marvel Legends line there is enough articulation to provide many nice displays with that great Marvel Select detail. Highly Recommended.

This line of figures seems to have gone cheaper over the last couple of years or so, using more light weight plastic to create a product that looks really neat but feels very delicate and fragile. Red Hulk, however, was a lot heavier than I expected. Having bought a few figures of the later series, like Ultimate Hulk and Iron Man, I felt like I was holding just a hollow tube, particularly with Ultimate Hulk.

The price on this figure is steeper than what you would find for the others in the comic shop, but the quality seems to be a bit better. The torso uses that light weight plastic, but the arms and lower body uses a heavier mold that reminds me of earlier figures in this line. Red Hulk's also taller than I expected. I have to say I am quite pleased.

For a Marvel Action figure this is by-far one of the best they sell. It looks great , great cooler and descent detail. If you like the Red Hulk go for this one.

This is one incredible (pardon the pun)figure. I purchased it for my 5 year old son and he absolutely loves this thing, as do I! Its a little heavier than other toys of this size but its the legs that are heavy to keep the figure balanced. There are however 2 things I do not like about this Red Hulk, 1) Not much articulation (particularly the legs), and 2) shoulder and neck joints became a bit more loose than I'd like after some posing. Over all, though, this is the best Rulk figure made to date.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON'S 11TH BIRTHDAY AS HE IS A VERRRY HUGE MARVEL FAN.HE DIDN'T HAVE A RED HULK OTHER THAN A SMALL ONE FROM WALMART.HE LOVES THIS ONE.WE ARE LEAVING IT IN THE PACKAGE AND PUTTING IT ON A SHELF IN HIS ROOM. IT LOOKS GREAT AND IS A MUST FOR HULK AND MARVEL FANS.I HOPE ALL OF HIS MARVEL STUFF MAKES HIM RICH ONE DAY LOL.I HAVE A LOT INVESTED IN HIS COLLECTION.

To be frank, I underestimated how big the figure was really going to be. The Red Hulk has a good heft to it, and will certainly tower over your other puny figures. The price is just a little much, but honestly I don't feel cheated. Awesome figure for such an imposing character. Do recommend.

Excellent detail. Sculpted like the comic character. Marvel Select special collector edition makes great quality figures.

This figure is WICKED cool! I know it's the same body as the green Hulk,but SO WHAT! It still looks awesome amongst my other figures. I love the head they sculpted,they totally captured the look of the comic. If you own the green hulk then you won't be surprised by just how big ol' red is. If your a hulk fan(or even if your not) get this figure while the getting's good! You won't regret it.

This is an awesome addition to the collection if your a Hulk fan. This was way heavier than I though it would be. It has very good detail and overall is very cool to have. It comes with the pictured stand and stands very tall compared to other Hulk figures.

I must say that I'm impressed with the artwork all around. It's heavy with minimal discrepancies...if any! Great work by MARVEL...finally! DC has been kicking y'alls @ss in the action figure department...hands-down! Nice work with this top notch Red Hulk! Now, get working on a REAL Jugganaut....PLEASE!!
