I found this toy a little complicated to transform back and forth. My 4 year old definitely couldn't do it himself, and we had to consult the instructions in order to figure it out. The age range for the product says 5 years and up though, so I'm sure older kids will have an easier time of it.

On the plus side, the toy comes with missles that shoot out with the touch of a button. This works in both jet and figure mode. This is definitely the coolest thing about the toy. The pieces store on the figure for the most part, but they are easy to lose. The figure is maybe 9" or so tall (approximate).

Other than the shooting missiles though, the toy doesn't really do anything else. There are no sounds/lights, motion, etc. Not that every toy has to "do" something, but there are other transformers out there that are bettter. I'd recommend The Batman Shadowtek Batmobile Shadowbot Vehicle as an alternative (or addition). It is a little bigger and has lights and sounds, also shoots discs... basically a similar product, but more interactive for your money.

Overall, this is not a bad toy, and if your child likes superheros, I'm sure it will be a hit. I just wish it were sturdier and eaiser to flip back and forth between plane and superhero.

Think of a rubiks cube! thing is IMPOSSIBLE to transform. It is by NO MEANS easy. Children are supposed to transform it? My son is a transformers GENIUS and he hands the darn thing to me: Daddy, can you transform it again? Directions might as well be in Chinese. I figured it out, but after it fell apart 4 times during the "Transformation." Steer clear of this one folks. Hasbro and Marvel pushed this turd out way too fast. I bought the spider-man one for my other son and he has yet to open it. I can't wait for the call from his Mother saying what on earth did you get this thing for? JUNK. Seriously. Transform your mind on this item and get something that's worth it. Or keep your money and transform it into money saved! This is an insult to both Marvel comics and Transformers.

Well it was in its package, But the toy was hard when my son tried to transform it and the arms come apart.
