2 words of warning. Make sure you get either the Gold Edition or this Special Edition, the regular one does not have the additional characters and you cannot download them anymore. Also any game saves you have with the regular will not be recognized by the other editions, it will say file is corrupted. Other than that this is the best super-hero game ever. Yes, little things could be tweaked to make it better, but once you play through the entire story, you will be amazed at the wide scale of locations and accurate character portrayals and understand there are humanly possible limitations for the developers. Given the fact this is a 2006 title, the graphics are awsome and there is very little frame rate problems. Camera angle is better than 90% of these game types, and it is controlable (zoom and rotate). If you are a true Marvel comics fan and like deep but not overly complex rpgs you will lose many, many, many hours to this game and play through with different characters and decisions dozens of times. There are plenty of hidden nods to each character (my favorite is if you are Colossus and Wolverine is standing by you, you can pick him up and do the "fastball special", I found this out by accident and was totaly like wow !!!. Pay the extra and get this edition. You will regret it if you don't.
