Not a great toy, but might be worth adding to your superhero collection,

This review is from: Marvel Universe 3 3/4 Inch Series 1 Action Figure #3 Silver Surfer (Toy)
I was less than impressed with this Silver Surfer action figure. It's very dainty feeling and full of fragile little joints. These Marvel Universe figures are cool from a collector's standpoint, but they are a bit over-articulated for figures their size (3-3/4" scale).
Besides the overall delicateness of the toy, what was frustrating to me was how difficult it was to stand Silver Surfer on his surfboard. The plastic surfboard accessory comes with two pegs for the action figure's feet. But the pegs are so far apart that it just about pushes the limits of the toy's legs, and you've really got to push those feet down if you want them to stay. But, after grappling with it for awhile, I got the Surfer on his board and all is well. Silver Surfer is painted a glittery silver and has articulation in his ankles, knees (2 joints each), hips (ball & socket), abdomen, forearms, elbows, shoulders (ball & socket), and head. He comes with his silver-painted board. The Marvel Universe action figures offer characters from throughout Marvel Comics in a new 3-3/4" scale. This small scale matches the scales of other action figure lines, including Star Wars, DC Universe: Infinite Heroes, and Indiana Jones. The figures are designed based on their classic comic book appearances, rather than recent movies or TV cartoons. The toys are great for collectors and should be fun for kids as well. While the Silver Surfer figure is really nothing special, it might be a character you'd want to add to your growing superhero collection. If you're building a team of heroes, Silver Surfer could be a nice piece.

The Perfect Companion to My (and Possibly Your) Marvel Legends Series Galactus, the Silver Surfer is Awesome. Such a Simple Concept, Perfectly Executed. The Intention to Use the Board as a Base for Him to Stand On Leaves a Little to Be Desired. Could Never Find a Good Pose in which He Didn't Fall Over. I Solved this How I Solve that Problem with Any Flying Character. Name Brand Dental Floss Hanging from His Arms to the Ceiling can Produce a "Surfing Through the Stars" Effect Very Easily. Hang Him Near Galactus (if Possible) for the Full Effect.
