My kids collect these Marvel Universe action figures, and I use to read the comic books when I was a kid. So, when I saw this figure for the first time I had to come and write a review about it here on Amazon because it is a really nice action figure. First of all, Thor is true to size relative to the rest of the characters; he's bigger and taller (kind of like the Hulk figure). Also, the detail is the best that I have seen so far. He looks really good. I felt bad when my boys started pounding him against another figure LOL. Anyway, this is an exceptional looking toy and I would recommend it to any parent or collector.

This figure of Thor just plain rocks, and finally gives fans something worthy of collection. Other Thor figures would either not look good at all, or look good but be too bulky and lack any articulation. This guy proves great things can come in small packages. The sculpt is outstanding. It looks like a direct interpretation of Oliver Coipel's art, while actually making Thor not look chubby. I must say, he is a very intense figure, looking poised to act at a moments notice. The hair, wings and cape are made out of soft plastic, making it seem more characteristically authentic. The design of his suit is perfect for blending the articulation points. Speaking of, he can bend/twist at the neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, upper abs, waist, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles. All of those lead to Thor being able to be posed in some very bad-ass stances. I haven't noticed any chipping of paint with all the manipulation and posing. His Mjolnir is very well detailed for a small accessory. The paint on Thor is top notch: weathered blue on his boots and tunic, dark, metallic gray on his armor, and blonde with streaks of yellow to highlight his hair are just some of the nice touches. Over-all, you won't be able to find a better, moreworth while Thor figure.

This Thor action figure looks terrific. Thor is in a more modern comic book costume (chainmail under his blue tunic) and the detail is great. The colors are darker and shadowier than the old-school comic book Thor figure from the Secret Wars comic pack, and I think this one looks great. He has a mythic quality about him.

His red cape is rubbery and is attached at Thor's chest. His long blond hair is also rubbery, so you can turn his head without trouble. The figure is very posable, as are all of the Marvel Universe toys. But this Thor is very nice. He's fairly sturdy and his joints move nice and smoothly.

This is an entirely different sculpt than the classic-look Thor from the Secret Wars pack, and a cooler figure. That figure was a bit awkward and clumsy. This one is smooth and sturdy and looks totally awesome. Modern-look Thor comes with a stand and his hefty hammer. He's an excellent addition to anyone's superhero team. Collectors might want to check out the more traditional Thor in the comic pack as well, but don't pass up this rockin' version.

i think the sculpt on the hace and hammer could be better but other then that its a solid fig !

When I saw this figure immediately I knew that I would have it. I was so anticipated to get this and truly, this is a great Marvel Universe toy for all who like Marvel and collect their figures or play with them. It looks just like the comic book Thor and also this costume will be in the Thor movie which comes out next year. This is possibly the MU figure that I have so far and the best Thor that I have. Thank God I bought this toy. Without I wouldn't have formed little Avengers Group. Lol. He now stands next to Iron Man, Captain America and Spiderman and is often fighting the Masters of Evil. Lmao. I recommend this to all buyers. Thank you.

This toy is smaller than stated and you can get the same thing at walmart for the same price and not have to pay the shiping. I spent close to twenty dollars on a toy here that seems like it will brake after two minutes of playing. Dont buy this toy! Instead go to walmart and spend less on the toy. You will be saving yourself eight bucks on shipping. Which will cost less in gas to go to the store to buy it youself.
