I don't know why this game is getting such high reviews, as like most video game strategy guides, Prima's Official Marvel vs. Capcom 2 guide is not worth your time. Any person can get more ACCURATE information from FAQs on the internet, and get them for free instead of paying for it here. Let me point out what I find is wrong with this guide.

For a "strategy" guide, there is little if any strategies in here. Every character is praised as being good when it obviously isn't true... claiming ANY good qualities about Chun-Li, Marrow, Anakaris, or any other of the bottom tier characters just proves that the author doesn't have any comprehension whatsoever.

There's no mentions of any traps or other types of useful information whatsover. Cable's AHVB x 3? Spiral's sword traps? Doom/Strider trap? Juggernaut glitch? Infinites? Nope, you won't find any of that good stuff here. Just a bunch of screen shots, move list, and damage numbers. Not even decent combos for each character.

Whoever thinks this guide is worth buying is either a 12 year old scrub, or hallucinating.

This Player's Guide has all the moves for all 56 characters.If you own this game you have to go and get it. The price is good at Amazon so if you get it buy it here. It also has pictures and bios of each character and also shows the different versions of each character. All I can say is buy it now!

This book has everything you need to know to turn you into a master from what you are without this book,a sore loser who yells "Stop cheating!" in the middle of the arcade just cause you blinked when the game started and by the time you opened your eyes you had lost.

This book helped me A LOT with the game. Basically, one can say it is a beefed up version of the instruction manual, but I beg to differ. It has every single character descriptions, move lists, and tips. It is especially helpful with secret characters, since you would have to learn their moves on your own. On the downside, I noticed that it had some mistakes. Nothing really major, but just some mistakes in the move names. Also, the way the book is made is pretty cheap. After a month or so, it starts falling apart.

Overall, if you're completely new to Marvel vs. Capcom 2, look no further. Otherwise, you might want to check elsewhere.

The sellers who think someone is stupid enough to pay 50 for this used should be commited to an asylum.

The guide is nothing more than a book on moves, and little about strategy. The reviewers who say otherwise are hoping they can convince you to pay them a lot of your hard earned cash for their guide.

If you have any experience with fighting games, you don;t need this. If you are a newbie, read the manual that comes with the game, or use the 50 bucks you are thinking about spending on this guide to buy an older capcom fighting game to learn the moves on.

Very little about strategy at all. It tells you to try and link super moves into a combo. Anyone can do this on their own with a little practice. the guide is nothing in depth at all.

It's a good book. The book's got everything u want to know about the game. worth ur 12 bucks

the game is great but theres no reason to get in a 15 dollar book for what you can get for free on the internet. i think the book is just a way to get more money out of you to where you have to pay fifteen dollars to know some of the moves, what a waste!!!
