I was not happy when I received this costume. It was not at all like the picture. I wanted it because the head piece was 1 piece. When I received it in the mail, it was so ugly it was not the same one that was in the picture. The one I received had a head cap and a mask that was too tight to my 3 year olds head it hurt his eyes. But I couldnt send it back because my 3 year old seen it and was so excited about Spiderman, he wanted to put it on and didnt want to take. So I had to keep it. Later at Target I found that real one in the picture for $19.99.

My 3 yo son completely freaked out when he saw this costume. We bought it on August 18 after one month of him begging us to get a Spider-man costume. It was so much fun. He was trying to climb the walls in the living room. The costume has "muscles" which is completely hysterical! TOO FUNNY!!! We could barely get it off of him to take a bath. This coupled with a pair of [...] Spider-man gloves to match are the bees knees. Unbelievable fun for a 3 year old!!! And for us, also!!! Get out your video camera for this one, folks!

My son is ecstatic about his new Spiderman costume. I'm not quite as excited about it though. The muscles are very cute, and the 2T is true to size. However, it seems a bit high-waisted. The waistline sits above his belly button. It's nerdy and hilarious, and I feel a little bit guilty letting him wear something so ridiculous outside of the house, but he's in love with it so we'll keep it.

Great costume, though it ran a bit small. Order up if you are close to the end of a certain size.

Like many others who've ordered this costume, I was worried that I would receive the cheap/tacky version depicted in the third photo. Before ordering I crosschecked the ASIN and item model number with other sites just to be sure it was the one we wanted. We received the right costume and it is perfect!

First, I have to say that this costume does run small (which is odd because all the accessories sold for this costume run large) and I am glad that I went with the 3T/4T even though it was purchased for a 2 year old who is not at all large for his age. He has broad shoulders but the rest of him is average or even a little below average for his age and this fit him perfectly. The colors are vivid, unlike many of the other versions I have seen in stores. All of the local stores had various versions with the full mask that has tiny eye holes (there is no way he would have kept that thing on for more than 2 minutes) and none of those had muscles. I think the muscles make the costume and the half-mask is a smart choice for toddlers. He absolutely loves this costume, I had to hide it after making sure it fit so he wouldn't try sleeping in it every night until Halloween but after Halloween I do suspect he will attempt to make this costume his new favorite pajamas.

This costume does not fit 4 year olds. My son is 3 years and 5 months. He weights only 33 pounds and his height is 3.2 feet. We got the costume 3 weeks ago and it BARELY fits him.

We purchased this for our 3 year old for Halloween.. the costume fits great and looks to be pretty durable. Our son loves this costume. We purchased Spiderman rain boots from Wal-Mart for him to wear with this costume so he could reuse them after Halloween. This is great!!!

Boy, how I wish I could write a really good review of this product.

First, the good. My 3-year old loves this costume! He wants it on all of the time. Also, it looks really good, with the muscles, and the good colours. The hat/mask is really easy to put on, too.

Now, the bad. We have only had this product for 3 days. The stitching is horrible. I have been cutting loose strands off, constantly. The left armpit is ripped and the stitching in the back has ripped while we were putting it on. Also, the velcro has not been stitched on well and I would expect it to come off in the next few days. Another poor choice is that it is not machine-washable, or dry-cleanable, which is going to add a lot of extra work during laundry day, unless it just falls apart first.

For a Marvel product, it is not the quality that I expected for the price that I paid. They needed to spend a few extra pennies on high-quality thread and a good machine with a good stitch pattern--a wave pattern will not hold up to continued use.

I ordered this costume and it was here the next day. This particular one was too small, but they quickly refunded my money so i could get a new one. A++++++ service!!
The costume is absolutely adorable. My little boy loves the big muscles and the half mask is perfect so children don't feel too claustrophobic. Thanks!!!

I received this Spiderman costume via UPS tonight. I ordered the item last week and as promised it was delivered on time today. I have a 2 year old son who LOVES Spiderman. He is an average size kid for his age, but I ordered the 3T-4T in hopes it would fit perfect for Halloween 2011. The costume is a perfect fit right now. I hope that he doesn't grow too much between now and trick or treat, but this costume is adorable! The built in muscles add a lot of character to the costume! I am one happy mommy with a happy son too!
