This review is from: Marvin's Magic 100 Tricks and Tips with Svengali Magic Cards (Toy)
This is a mindblowing deck and performs some of the most impossible feats in all of magic. I will explain to you just one of the many tricks in the book. As the trick begins you will casually cut the deck and you ask for a volunteer. When they think you will not know the top card they can tell you when to stop. They then select the top card show it to the audience but not to you. Your volunteer puts the card back on top and you begin to casually cut again and tell your volunteer to say stop when they think their card is lost in the deck. You then begin to use mind reading. You sort the cards into two piles and then supposedly read the volunteers mind to see which pile it is in. You make your pick and tell the volunteer to look through the chosen pile absolutely sure that the card is in there. You become shocked to realize the card isnt in the chosen pile. Enraged you throw the cards against the wall. Then impossibly the chosen card can be seen outside the window. The audience will obviously realize you put the card there but will be baffled to figure out how you picked the chosen card. However there is but one problem with this deck. There is a certain element in the deck that if two tricks involving the deck are shown to the same audience the secret of the deck is given away. That is my one warning. But if you simply love magic but dont have the skill of masters get this deck because it will make impossible tricks possible for even the worst magician. PS since you should only do one svengali trick per audience make sure it is a showstopper like the one above.
