I chose this case very carefully after looking through literally hundreds of showcases on various review sites. At this price, I found it to be the best value with the most features and functionality. Of course, it was a pro/con process, and I was delighted to find out that the cons I had listed (drawn from other user's reviews) turned out to be almost nonexistent.
PROS (Main points; there are more, just read the description)
-Slim, lightweight design, uncommon for folio-style cases
-Uses the magnetic on-off function like the Smart Cover
-3 Viewing angles in the landscape orientation
-Hand strap for 1-handed presentation
CONS (disproved) - These came from YouTube reviews, Amazon reviews, and others.
-Extremely potent rubbery smell. My case does not smell at all.
-Nothing to secure iPad to front flap in 1-hand mode. My case has a thin elastic strap that wraps around the right side, fixing this problem. New version?
-The case slides out of the middle viewing angle. Not true. As long as it's sitting on a non-moving flat surface, it won't budge. Maybe if you've got it on your lap, WHICH MOVES...but that's your lap's fault, not the case's.
-The case 'bounces' when set in the typing angle. It does bounce, but barely, and not in a way that affects your typing. Also, I am a particularly forceful typer, so most people won't have this problem.
-Fingerprints show up on the faux-carbon fiber surface. Nope. Oily skin, wet skin, nothing leaves a noticeable mark.
-The latches require a lot of force to convert to viewing mode. Only one of the two corners has a strong grip, the lower left. I honestly prefer the firm hold, and assuming it doesn't snap off in the future, this is not a con for me. If your fingers are so weak that this is a dealbreaker, try getting a squeeze-ball for your desk. Or take up rock climbing.
So, yeah, all thumbs up for this case. Most of the reviewers I watched still recommended this case despite the cons, and I say - no cons, no problem. Buy.
