hile the case is nice, you'll need to puchase a Multidapt® Ratchet Clip seperately. So to save money on shipping make sure you purchase that too. Any of them will do, it doesn't have to be from marware.

I bought this in an airport and sure enough, the clip broke within hours. BUT, I epoxied it back on and it's been fine for ~7 months. Now the elastic on the sides is falling apart. I loved my OEM Blackberry cases. Maybe I'll carve a wood case...

The case is very stylish but the clip is poorly manufactured. I am on my third unit. The first clip broke off and i thought that perhaps I was too rough with it. The second clip broke off within two weeks and I called the manufacturer, Marware. After several calls, emails, and about a month later I received a replacement directtly from them. Last night, one month after I received the third unit, my wife found my phone near road. It seems that cheap or inferior glues are used to keep the clip on the leather. I would not recommend.

P.S.: My iphone is fine.

The plastic clip on this case broke in less than 1 month and I've had to carry it in my pocket ever since. Shoddy.

The case itself is good quality, but where the clip attaches to the case snapped off within weeks of purchase.

As a result, it's now a pocket case - which misses the point.

This case works by using friction to hold onto the iPhone. However, notice from the picture that you can grab the iPhone only at its corners when you pull it out of the case. This means you have to pull with a compromised grip against the resistance of the case. If you are not very careful, well, at least my iPhone still works in spite of its shattered glass front when it slipped out of my hand on a side walk while trying to pull it out of its case.

If this is not enough problem, the clip spring on the case occasionally pops off of your belt when you get in or out of a car or lean over.

Lastly, you cannot put a screen protector on your iPhone because it makes too much resistance and you cannot get your iPhone out without concentrated effort.

I bought this and initially it worked well, I placed the phone in the hard clear plastic case that I bought at the Apple store then in the CEO Sleeve and clipped over my belt. One day while riding the subway as I got up I felt something next to me, looked down and there was the case with the phone on the seat, this happened two other times, once while getting out of my car and another time while sitting on my couch. It seems that sitting makes the clip vulnerable to slipping off. Overall you are likely to lose your phone using this case.

I've first got to say that I really like this case overall, but there are a couple things that I don't like about it. First the nice things- this is one of few cases that will hold the phone with a case on it, and the quality of the case is very good. The cons- the speaker area is covered by the fold at the bottom, the clip isn't very strong, and if you don't have a case on your phone, you may consider buying the CEO with the lip at the top so it doesn't come out. From what I've seen thus far, this seems to be the best sleeve on the market so far.

This case is not too good. It leaves too much of your iPhone exposed.

If you drop it the phone can slide out or get marred even if it stays in the case as quite a bit of the side of the phone is exposed.

The Marware C.E.O. Glide is a MUCH better choice for your happy, shiny, cool, fun, new, iPhone 3G.

This sleeve looks even nicer then pictured. The iPhone slides in and out with ease but is snug enough so it doesn't fall out. The case does not come with a rotating belt clip, but who really needs one. The inside of the case features a soft velvet like material so it won't scratch your screen. Overall it is a high quality case. Other cases I tried were nowhere near as good as this one.
