The Marware case for the iPod Mini is a great product for the value. The armband is excellent, very comfortable - even for jogging or weight lifting.
I have two small issues that bother me about this product:
1. The case has an opening in the bottom for the iPod USB/Firwire cable. The plastic doesn't want to close well and constantly opens.
2. The front cover has a place to store your earphones, which is very hard-pressed. It could be easier.

Over all, the product is in high quality and very recommended!

The sportsuit makes the mini larger, a fact you must come to terms with. If you want a case that accentuates the sleek, diminutive properties of your ipod, this ain't it.

BUT, if you want to protect your investment, prolong its lifespan, and confidently carry your music without fear of damage, then the sportsuit is the product you have been looking for.

With the cover off you still have significant protection for your ipod and unfettered access to the controls. With the cover on you have additional security as well handy storage for your earbuds, a feature sorely missing from most cases.

If you want to emphasize how small and cute your ipod is, buy a Nano. If you want to protect your ipod and have it for a long long time,get a Marware SportSuit.

I was very excited to receive my iPod mini and the Marware Convertible the same day. However, my excitement soon diminished. This case definitely had a nice appearance (at first glance) and comes with a good amount of options for use (i.e. strong belt clip, arm bad, protective front attachment, etc). Those many options are the only reason I gave it 2 stars, instead of 1. However, upon further inspection you can see some very poor stitching work and overall assembly. But that isn't even the biggest issue, the fact that my mini has to be crammed (and I mean crammed) into the case with extreme force to even get it somewhat close to lining up the cutout for the click wheel, is absurd. Also, when you attempt to get it even close to lining up the click wheel with the cutout, it causes the bottom rubber flap (used for the dock cable) to protrude or open. As you can see in an earlier review, another user had this same issue so I have a feeling my case isn't a fluke. Just be warned when checking out this case. I am probably going to return it and look for other options today.

The material that Marware used to construct this case is as impressive as the ipod itself. I have dropped it a couple of times and the case protected my mini and nothing happened to it. This is worth buying and is a good investment to protect the best personal audio player on the planet.

Billed as a sporty case, this product provides no actual impact protection. The very first time I dropped my iPod mini it landed on a lower corner. The impact shattered the iPod screen, chipped the corner, and the neoprene split at that corner. This was from a height of 3 feet (pocket level) onto a tile floor. I don't expect to be able to brutally abuse my equipment, but the plastic inserts for impact protection did absolutely nothing. Upon further examination, they wouldn't do anything unless the iPod landed totally flat, which is not all that likely.

The case looks fine, armband works fine, no complaints other than it didn't protect the iPod AT ALL. I only gave it two stars instead of one because there aren't any other issues. I would definitely not get this case again.
