Marware CEO Premiere Case for iPhone 1G (Black)

I recently received my Marware CEO Premier case. I wanted this style case because I'm not a person who uses my phone all day long, so I wanted a nice, well-protecting case that would allow me to use my iPhone "bare" when I actually use it. There is a pleasure in the weight and feel of the iPhone that I think would be lost if you wrapped it in a silicone case.

The Marware comes with the case, a screen protector, and a microfiber cloth.

First the case: very professional looking... At least as nice as the pictures if not nicer. I was pleasantly surprised. The material used for the front and back is actually pretty rigid- for some reason I was thinking it might be a little more flexible. The belt clip is sturdy and doesn't add a lot of bulk, so no worries there. The inside isn't particularly soft, not like suede or anything like that. I might have felt better about suede, but it is probably doubtful that the material used will scratch the phone. The magnetic closure mechanism is super low profile (adds no bulk) and powerful enough to keep the case closed. Definitely a great choice by Marware. Since it is completely molded in, there is no stitching, rivets, or anything of the sort that could be a source for scratches like could happen with velcro or a snap.

There is one thing about a case like that you won't realize until you use one. I think this would be true of any case of similar design.... The hole in the bottom is plenty big enough to give the phone a nice upward push with a couple fingers. But then it gets a little weird. You have the phone partially pushed out of the case, and because the case is rigid, there is no obvious, smooth, single motion for getting the phone the rest of the way out. The back of the case (actually the front flap, folded up) won't let you get a good grip behind the phone. I usually end up akwardly grabbing the phone with my fingers and smearing up the front of the phone. But hey, the front gets smeared up anyway during normal use so I suppose it is no big deal. However I think if it were a softer leather you'd have more options- you could probably squeeze the bottom of the case and push the phone the rest of the way out.

The microfiber cloth is junk. Nowhere near as good as the one included with the phone. A nice thought, but it got lint all over the face of my phone. Totally defeats the point- I probably couldn't find a worse fabric to use if I tried.

The film has potential. I put mine on very carefully- phone was perfectly clean. There were a couple areas around the cutouts that just wouldn't stick. However, the phone seems to smear less with the film on. I am a perfectionist and tried to take the film off and clean it and reapply, but this ruined it. I'm not sure if it is adhesive or static cling that holds it on, but it is clear you have one shot to apply it right. If you get lucky and yours goes on correctly, you'll be in good shape. Otherwise, easy come, easy go.

Anyway, if you're sure this is the style case you want, I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with it.

The CEO Premiere case is an overall great case. I use it mostly at work, where I can easily reach my phone when I get a phone call and do not have to worry about it being in my pocket (being scratched by change or keys).

The case itself is made of good quality leather and looks sharp especially with professional clothing. I chose this case because I wanted some protection and yet wanted to use the phone naked. This case covers the phone more than other similar cases and unlike other cases the magnetic closure is quiet and will not wear out like some velcro closure. Since it is made for the iPhone the case is slim.

The only downside is that once the case slipped off of my belt when I was sitting on a bench.

I found the best method for getting the phone out the case with one hand is to use your fingers to push on the bottom opening and utilizing the flap with your thump to push down the phone into your palm. While this is a bit risky since your phone could be easily dropped it is also the quickest method for removing the phone from the case.

it's very nice but it broke very fast... i bought an other one that in better quality and cheaper price.

Great case for the iPhone 3G too. Works exactly as it should and looks good too.

Ordered this product in April, recieved in good working order, but a few weeks later the sides broke (removing and replacing the phone to the carriage caused the seams to break). I chalked it up to a faulty item. Returned it and had another shipped. This one lasted 2 months and is now about to break.

I'm looking into returning this and getting a replacement if possible. If not I'd like a refund.

I'd look elsewhere until this design flaw is fixed.

Perfect case for the iPhone. High quality black leather on the outside, nice magnetic flap, and soft leather on the inside. Best iPhone case that I have tried so far.

Like all iPhone accessories, it seems there are way too many choices out there. So, I had to research quite a bit, and luckily this case nicely met my needs. It is easy to remove the phone, protects it well, and the invisible magnetic snap closure is neat - case feels very sleek, just like the phone.

Great Product... delivered what it promised!
Good quality leather and my iPhone fits perfectly in it. Inner white material (i think it is leather) is smooth enough to not scratch my phone.
You also can listen to music (connect the audio jack) when the phone is kept inside the case by inverting the phone orientation to show the audio jack to the right of the case.
Did not find any defects or problems using it (Am using this for the past 1 month). I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple sturdy iPhone case

I guess this may be a good product from Marware so long as you dont use it with the sport grip case they sale.

Puts to much strain on the sides who finally broke.
