I bought the Sidewinder with my iPhone. It's convenient and protects at least one side of the iPhone. The cord management system is a nice plus. On the other hand, you have to realize that the back side of the phone will pick up scratches and dirt as it's facing outward all of the time.

After exactly a month, the point of attachment to the clip broke when I was taking it off of my belt. There's a thin, hollow ring of plastic at the attachment point that fatigued. I feel like I was lucky that it broke when I was holding the phone and I didn't end up with it on the floor of a taxi or a train, unnoticed.

With it failing so soon, I'd avoid it.

The holster does not snugly fit the iPhone. There is a small gap between the top of the IPhone and the holster lip, which made me uneasy about its security. However, I didn't have to worry about that because the holster broke off from its clip in less than one month with fairly light use by me. I recommend the Seidio iPhone holster instead. It's $5 more, but much better designed and made.

Seemed cheap - and it is. While I liked the look and feel and the "stand" it did not feel secure in holding the phone. The belt clip broke 2 weeks in and I threw it away.

The Sidewinder is an amazing concept that only the engineering genius of Marware could pull off. I can't understand the negative reviews, this is just what I wanted - easy access to my organized headphones and belt clip. Other iPhone cases miss the point and simplicity of this one.

In conjunction with a durable screen protector (not really the one that is supplied), it is a great case for your iphone. The above description of the case is not totally accurate - you have to remove the case to connect the iphone to the dock. It is a very handy case. You can carry your headphones wrapped around the retractable cord management system.
The rotational clip with the easy snap off (to answer phone) is stellar.
Best of all, the beauty of the iphone is preserved!

The Sidewinder provides very good iPhone protection. I usually turn the glass face in when I am carrying it around. If I don't want the belt clip, I take it off (paper clip through the round catch releases it) and just slide the phone with the cover on in my pocket.

The case holds the iPhone very securely. And the apple bluetooth headpiece fits very nicely in the sidewinder. This is a great product. I absolutely love it. The only way it could be better is if there was a gap in the bottom so that I could also charge the iphone in the case. But overall this is a great case and I am very pleased.

I have an iphone with factory earbuds and I added a Sheildzone front and back clear skin to protect from scratches. Bought the sidewinder at an apple store b/c I like to switch b/n using the headphones and just keeping the phone at my side, so the cord management system sounded appealing. Well, it's nice that it can "detach" from the clip for quick phone answering and such... but it's so stiff! It takes a good amount of effort to get it off and then again to re-attach the clip.

Also, the top of the clip is so sharp edged and raised so high that I would jab my side on it whenever I sat down or leaned over, etc. I considered sanding the corners down but chose to get rid of it instead. Also, beware of the top clip that secures the phone in, if you are in a rush to pop the phone in/out then you run the risk of seriously scratching the sim card slot cover on your phone. I was very careful, but still got some damage from taking it out of the case and replacing it again. Finally, the biggest let down was that the darn earbuds wouldn't stay put in the cord "management system."! They'd always pop loose and start flopping around and unwinding themselves as I walked around. A huge pain in the rear!
