Book Description

Che Guevara Publishing Project October 1, 2008

This new Che Guevara book makes an insightful contribution to the revival of interest in Marxism.

Commenting on Marx’s humanism, Che writes: “Such a humane man, whose capacity for affection extended to all those suffering throughout the world, offering a message of committed struggle and indomitable optimism, has been distorted by history and turned into a stone idol.”

A thoughtful and provocative introduction to the lives and work of Marx and Engels by a famous revolutionary practitioner of Marxism, this book includes Che’s recommended reading list of essential Marxist classics, making it a popular choice for students and political activists.

5.0 out of 5 stars A previously unpublished work finally made public, January 8, 2009
This review is from: Marx & Engels: A Biographical Introduction (Che Guevara Publishing Project) (Paperback)
Two men who lived in the nineteenth century have had more impact on the twentieth than any other. "A Biographical Introduction to Marx and Engels" is written by famous revolutionary Che Guevara. He speaks on the two fathers of communism and in the process, opens the eyes to the mind of Che Guevara in himself at the same time. A previously unpublished work finally made public, "A Biographical Introduction to Marx and Engels" is intriguing reading indeed.
