Mary did you know, is an intriging question that brings to mind several other questions regarding the mother of Jesus Christ. The author, Mark Lowry, brings to light some very interesting points regarding Mary's perspective on the birth of Jesus. So if your searching for a book with heartfelt warmth, this is the one. Or if your looking for a book with a wonderful message conserning the savior, once again this is the one. With this in mind, I give this book my recommendation without reservation

Mark does an excellent job of creating a picture of what it must have been like for Mary to hold in her hands the Creator of all, just like any mother holds her baby. His questions bring tears to your eyes as you begin to feel as though you are seeing the first Christmas night for yourself! This is a must have for anyone's collection!

This is an exquisite jewel of a gift, suitable for just about everyone on your list! The CD is performed by the composer of this most beautiful Christmas song and the book which houses it is beautifully done with illustrations and prose that will remind everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. Plus, the modest price makes it possible to buy one for all the special people on your list!

Mr Lowery's insite to Mary's view is so amazing. I simply don't have the words to express the deep emotion you feel as you read the book. The song will move you to tears no matter how many times you hear it. We bought it as gifts for our girls Sunday school teachers and they all loved it as much as we did. Fabulous!

Mark Lowry has combined exquisite art with poetry, excerpts from books about the life of Christ & the Bible, with the lyrics of the song "MARY DID YOU KNOW?" to create a gift book to be cherished. The book comes out of Mary's concept of her Son as he grows from the joy of a newborn to the Crucified Christ. The book asks what was in her heart and what did she know about the eventual mission of her Son as she watched him grow and begin his minstry. It asks you to experience the sense of awe and fear that the life of Jesus inspired in her and all who knew of him. "Mary saw it all, the birth, the life, the death, and the Resurrection"

This CD that's in the book is very heart stopping and emotional.

This CD and book is THE most beautiful and meaningful gift I've ever received. My husband heard the song on the radio and went searching for it at music store where he found the Mark Lowry book/CD. I couldn't stop crying the first time I heard it. To read the birth of Christ through the eyes of His mother, the most Holy Theotokos, brings a new perspective to this great and holy holiday. I encourage everyone reading this review to purchase one for yourself and one for someone you love.

I've heard "Mary Did You Know" at Christmas time for the last maybe 4 years and thought it was so beautiful. This past Christmas I purchased this booklet with CD after comparing all those who recorded the song and Mark Lowry's was without a doubt the best. Our family (18 of us) get together Christmas Day for a time of celebration and a feast. Just before forming a circle holding hands around a huge table to say the blessing, I had my son-in-law play the recording. It created an atmosphere I hadn't anticipated. We were all so touched no one could hardly speak. The words have meaning many people would not be able to understand without knowing the scriptures. Thank you Mary Lowry for your gift!
