...for going back to this format for the purse size planner. I had to buy non-ME ones last year and this year because I NEED the month-at-a glance format. I am so happy it's back :-)

I agree wholeheartedly with the other 1-star reviewer. I have been using the ME hardback weekly planner with the elastic placeholder forever, and just ordered this without even looking at it assuming it would be the same as always. It's definitely not! It's flimsy with nothing to hold your place. And I HATE the month-at-a-time format. If ME had requests for a monthly planner, why not make one in addition to the tried-and-true weekly planner? Why get rid of the weekly one? Now I'll have to search around for a planner that will meet my needs the way ME's old one did, because I definitely won't be using this one!

This is NOT the hard back, elastic closure, weekly planner that you're used to. It's a soft back, monthly, tucked in a cardbord open top box. I'm quite disappointed having searched all over the Mary Engelbreit pages looking for my tried and true weekely 'Breit Days purse sized weekly calendar. So disappointing.

I have returned it because it was not as large of a planner as I thought it indicated it was in your description

For the Mary Engelbreit calender fans this is the perfect size calender to tuck into your purse. It has 32 pages. It measures approxiamately 4 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches. It comes in a hard protective cover that you can keep it in and slide it out of when you want to use it. This version is the month at a glance version. Perfect for keeping track of everything happening for the whole month. If you want a week at a glance calendar then you would be better off ordering the Mary Engelbreit desk version. It is larger and spiral bound. Last years version measured 7 1/2 by 9 inches. Or if you need a week at a glance purse size calendar then I recommend Becky Kelly's purse calendar. It measures 4 by 6 inches. It has a hard cover and an elastic band perfect for keeping it closed or holding your place. Very cute art work and also sold by Amazon.

I purchased this calendar after I missed a doctor's appointment that I had previously called to find out when the appointment was. The problem was that I had it written on my desk calendar but did not have a pocket calendar. I love Mary Engelbreit and when I saw the caption "Am I Supposed to be Somewhere?" I knew that this was the pocket calendar for me. It worked out great and it was a favorite of everyone that saw it. I has saved me numerous times from embarassment of missing an appointment or over scheduling myself. The spaces are large enough to write in and there are pages at the end for phone numbers and notes or lists that are perforated.
I loved it so much that I purchased next years version for myself and my mother in law.

I have been purchasing Mary Engelbreit calendars for many, many years. Each year she has made each day and month (I purchase numerous different calendars of ME) special. ME artwork is refreshing to the young and not-so-young. ME is the perfect artist who brings out happiness, family, friendship, and/or love in every picture. It's enjoyable to see the calendars on the wall, in my purse, or on my desk. I also have saved each calendar every year for scrapbooking. It's another fun way to scrapbook. I adore ME and do not plan on missing one year of her collections.
