A Cute Little Book,

This is a cute little board book containing six different Mother Goose rhymes. I believe these are some of the same ones that are in Mary Engelbreit's Mother Goose: One Hundred Best-Loved Verses. The six rhymes that are included are Little Miss Muffet, Bobby Shafto, Sing a Song of Sixpence, Lucy Locket, Three Little Ghostesses and Little Boy Blue.
The pictures are, of course, adorable (what else would you expect from Mary Engelbreit?) and I think it is a good mix of well-known and lesser-known rhymes (who has ever heard of Three Little Ghostesses, anyway?). This is great as your child's first Mother Goose book! |
