I wanted something to chronicle my baby's first year, and this calendar provided just what I was looking for. The squares are big enough to write a little memo about the day, but not so big that you feel pressure to ramble and fill it out. Every month has space to write a sort of summary about how baby is changing and growing. There are a variety of stickers for the big milestones like first teeth, rolling over, sitting alone, walking, etc. There are also other stickers to personalize the calendar or to use as photo corners/borders. There is also a space to record weight, length, eating and sleeping habits for each month.

I think the design is very nice and would work for a boy or a girl. There is a different nursery rhyme for every month with the sweet Mary Engelbriet artistry.

I purchased this calendar for a gift for my niece when she had her first baby. She decorated her nursery with Mary Engelbreit and this baby's first year calendar made a charming addition to her decor. If you are a Mary Engelbreit fan, this is a beautiful baby gift.

Love this calendar. The bright colors are great and we can customize it. This will be our little girls keepsake instead of a baby book.
