"Mary-Kate and Ashley have grown up!" exclaimed an eight-year-old tester when the twins greeted her upon starting the program. While not exactly what the tester expected, kids initially liked this CD that introduces them to clothes and musical styles of the last century. Crisp, clear graphics, all featuring the appealing Mary-Kate and Ashley are found in five fairly limited activities, the best of which are the video presentations of dances like the Charleston and the Twist. Kids can play games like Scrambled Eras, Name that Video and Name that Danceable Tune. Party invitations and recipes are also provided, but only a few choices are available, a flaw found throughout the software. Some music and dance lovers may stick with the program, but on the whole, the CD lacks the content necessary to keep kids coming back.
